First of all, to make Alchemical Ink in Nightingale, you need to have a Simple Mortar Station and Simple Smelter. You can get the Mortar Station shortly after the tutorial ends. After Puck tells you about the Essence Traders. This NPC sells items for Essence Dust, including the Simple Mortar Station and Simple Smelter.

Right-click on your unnecessary items, select “Extract” and separate them to get Essence Dust. To get Essence Dust, right-click on unnecessary items such as Wood Bundle, Stone Block, or Plant Fibre from your inventory and select the “Extract” feature. This will break them and you will get Essence Dust. You need 55 Essence Dust for each station, for a total of 110 Essence Dust.
