Last Epoch is an RPG hack-and-slash video game that spends a lot of time in Early Access and the full game was released on February 21. How Many Chapters Are in the Last Epoch?
Currently, there are nine chapters in Last Epoch. Initially, there were eight chapters but the ninth Chapter was added to the game as part of the Sands of Majasa update that was released in September 2021. Since then the game hasn’t received any update that would take the story further.
However, that doesn’t mean it will stay the same. The Eleventh Hour Games, the studio behind Last Epoch, has confirmed there will be three additional chapters coming to the game in the coming years. That means that the ninth chapter of the game won’t be the end of the storyline.
Chapters of the Last Epoch are spread across five different periods; the Divine Era, the Ruined Era, the Imperial Era, the Ancient Era, and the End of Time Era. Throughout the game, you will have to visit each era to get a full grasp of the story and also progress through it.
It will take around between 15-18 hours to finish the main story by just completing the main tasks and quests. However if you want to complete the side quest it will be between 30-35 hours and for the players that want to get everything there is in the game, it will take more than 65 hours of gameplay.
