Fans hoping for Taylor Swift to make a presidential endorsement recently had their hopes dashed. On Tuesday, the star opened up about Super Tuesday primary elections in Tennessee. Taking to social media, Swift urged people across 16 states to head to the polls and cast their ballots to pick the Republican and Democratic nominees for president. However, Taylor Swift’s Super Tuesday message contained no presidential endorsement. This came as a surprise to many, considering that the singer backed President Joe Biden in 2020.

With the upcoming presidential elections in the US only a few months away, many have been eagerly awaiting Taylor Swift’s presidential endorsement. Tuesday seemed the perfect day for Swift to endorse her candidate as she spoke about the primary elections. “Today, March 5, is the presidential primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories,” Swift began her message.

The Grammy Award winner then reminded fans to vote into power the people who represented them. “If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today,” she continued. Swift finished the message by urging people in and outside Tennessee to check for their polling places and times at VOTE.ORG.
