It’s expected that you’ll lose a character or several playing Deepwoken. This Roblox experience can be brutal at the best of times. So, you’ll need a solid strategy for a chance at survival. This comes with utilizing and upgrading the right skills and abilities. The only way to master your skills, attributes, and more in Deepwoken is to understand how to use investment points. Only then will you have a better chance at making it through this world.

You’ll gain either 15 or 25 investment points with each level up in power depending on whether you have an attunement or not. Your character levels up once those points drop to zero. Investment points decrease each time an attribute increases. You will only level up if you meet the EXP requirements.

Investment points are how you improve your skills, abilities, and attributes in Deepwoken. Without earning and using them, your character will remain on the rather weaker side and can easily find themselves overrun.

How To Earn and Use Points

It’s straightforward to earn investment points. Completing various activities, missions, quests, etc. will reward you with points. Additional points are available to those who use the Autodidact Boon. You can get it for free if you choose the Adret race. The Boon grants three additional investment points in Deepwoken after each Power increase following Power Level one. If you’re the Ardet race and have the Boon, you earn six free points.

Using investment points in Deepwoken involves using specific training gear. Do you want to build your strength stat? A simple task like chopping down trees can pour EXP into the stat. Meanwhile, if you want your weapon stat to increase, jump into melee combat using the weapon type of choice (e.g. light or heavy). If you earn the free points mentioned above, you can spend those free points while sitting at a campfire or campfire-equivalent.

Deepwoken doesn’t exactly explain everything such as earning and using investment points. However, you’ll more than likely earn and go through them without realizing it. Just play Deepwoken as you should like completing quests to earn more points, and focus on specific stats you want to increase to spend said points like attacking with a melee weapon to increase the weapon attribute. In no time, you’ll increase your Power and overall attributes to survive any encounter.

Roblox is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices.
