Kate Middleton and Prince Harry once had a lovely friendship, even acting as substitute siblings of sorts to each other. Sadly things went south in 2020 when Prince Harry and his wife left the U.K. and royal life behind. Following their exit, there were enough incidents to reignite the bond between the duo. Many even hoped that Kate Middleton’s health issues would get her and Prince Harry talking again — unfortunately, not so much. According to a recent report, the Princess of Wales wants nothing to do with her estranged brother-in-law.
Kate Middleton Allegedly Wants No Relationship With Prince Harry
The royal drama saga continues, but it’s between Kate Middleton and Prince Harry this time. Royal expert Christopher Andersen shared some sad revelations with Us Weekly during a chat on Wednesday. He claimed things had gone from bad to worse, and Kate wanted nothing to do with Prince Harry.
“I think there was once a relationship, a friendship, a very close one between Harry and Kate. I’m sure he’s concerned about her as well, but I know she wants to have nothing to do with them,” he said.
Andersen also revealed that, like her husband and King Charles, Kate felt betrayed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. “That hasn’t changed,” the expert said about the family’s fractured dynamic.
Kate Middleton and Prince Harry Haven’t Spoken to Each Other Recently
Meanwhile, amid Kate Middleton’s health issues, the Princess of Wales is recovering without any well-wishes from her brother-in-law. While the 39-year-old has reportedly reached out to his father amid his cancer diagnosis, Andersen says Prince Harry is yet to check in with Kate.
“My understanding is he hasn’t, and it’s a stalemate. They’re both on opposite sides of this wall and nobody has the courage to leap over it and really make an honest attempt,” he told Us Weekly.
Andersen remains convinced Prince Harry is worried about getting ignored. He said Harry received the cold shoulder from Kate during his visits to the U.K. Hence, he fears it will be the same situation all over. Despite the not-so-good nature of Harry’s relationship with Kate Middleton, royal enthusiasts hope they can reconcile and become close again. Meanwhile, hope remains that Kate recovers fully from her present health issues.
