  • How Does Speedrun Challenge Work in Phasmophobia? Answered

Every week, Phasmophobia throws a new challenge at us that will give us a chance for a huge amount of experience points and cash upon completion. This week, we’re up against the Speedrun Challenge, which is actually quite a bit more simple than most of them. You see, typically, things will be much more difficult than usual in Challenge Mode, but during the Speedrun Challenge, you get increased movement speed, some nice Tier 3 Equipment, and you get to do it in a small map. The goal is to find the ghost type as quick as possible. Think you can figure out who’s haunting your map?

Completing the Speedrun Challenge in Phasmophobia is pretty easy and loads of fun. Since you have some extra speed on your side, you can use it with some friends and get to the bottom of the mystery quickly. Having friends with you increases your chances of finding a ghost in the first place, which means you can collect evidence immediatelyโ€”more ghost activity means more evidence for you to find. Having speed on your side means you can make it through the map, checking each room for evidence that it is the ghost room, and utilizing the Tier 3 tools that you have at your disposal with haste. As long as you keep friends with you and stay on the move, you’ll complete the challenge in no time.

How Does Speedrun Challenge Work in Phasmophobia? Answered

The Speedrun Challenge is pretty unique and, admittedly, a nice, relaxing breath of relief among the wild difficulty-enhancing challenges that there seem to be so many of. The Speedrun challenge does little to make the contract more difficult and even makes it more simple. The concept is easy. You have increased movement speed, Tier 3 Equipment, Intermediate-equivalent difficulty, and a small map to roam in order to find the ghost type as fast as possible.

After you’ve gotten the hang of it, you only need to determine the ghost type correctly in the given map a total of three times. After you’ve completed it, you’ll be rewarded with $5,000 and 5,000 XP.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things โ€œgeekโ€. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you canโ€™t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
