Joie Chavis’s third child will arrive soon, but fans aren’t making the days until her delivery easy. A few days after announcing her pregnancy, Joie Chavis took to social media for a gender reveal. Sadly, what the internet star hoped would be a sweet and emotional post only left fans bashing her instead. Many majorly criticized Chavis for having three children with three different men. However, the model refused to be shamed, boldly standing up to the trolls.
Fans Slam Joie Chavis After Her Third Child’s Gender Reveal
Joie Chavis is expecting her third child with Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs. Unfortunately, many fans aren’t thrilled about it, considering the health and fitness advisor already shares two kids with rappers Bow Wow and Future. On Tuesday, fans came at Joie Chavis after she did a public gender reveal. Taking to her Instagram page, the 35-year-old shared two snapshots. The first slide was a photo of a white love-shaped cake with three monochrome ultrasound pictures beside it. “Baby is a …,” the words on the cake read. Chavis then revealed the gender in the next slide, posting a snap of herself in a pink dress posing in a pink-themed kitchen, signifying she was expecting a girl.
The Shade Room reposted Joie Chavis’s gender reveal, and fans trooped to the comments section to bash her.
“3 kids, 3 baby daddies, NO RING, spending another pregnancy alone. Please get some self esteem and some self respect,” one fan wrote.
A second fan shared:
“BM three times/three different men 🙄🙄🙄.”
A third follower also wrote:
“3 baby daddies is wild.”
Other fans’ thoughts were similar. Many also criticized Chavis for being in her thirties and getting pregnant for someone in her twenties.
Joie Chavis Replies Trolls
Shortly after The Shade Room shared the repost, Chavis responded to the trolls in the comments section. The internet personality first admitted she wasn’t perfect before boasting that, at least, she could take care of her kids on her own.
“Why y’all so quick to judge, how many baby mommas and baby daddies y’all momma and daddy got? Oh ok! Pop it to someone else, and leave me tf alone,” she wrote.
In another comment, Chavis made it clear she wouldn’t trade her life with any of the trolls, even if her life depended on it. Unfortunately, Chavis’s response didn’t stop the bashing. Many still criticized her, noting that raising kids alone wasn’t something to be proud of. Others maintained that having three baby daddies shouldn’t be normalized, as it only meant a broken home. But irrespective of what fans think, Chavis is focused on her happiness and being a great mom to her kids.
