How To Get Dante in Warframe (Armatus Mission Guide)

Relatively, it’s a manageable grind.

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Let’s address the elephant in the room first. Yes, Dante is worth it. More than worth it. He’s one of the most overpowered Warframes right now and he hasn’t even been out for more than a day. Naturally, you’ll want to get this Warframe. As is tradition in Warframe, you need to grind for the latest toys if you want them for free, and Dante is no exception. Here’s how to get Dante in Warframe through the Armatus mission, without spending any Platinum.

Where to Get Dante in Warframe

You can farm Dante’s Warframe parts (Systems, Neuroptics, Chassis) in Armatus, Deimos. It’s a Disruption mission that used to have no significant rewards. Now that Dante is here, his parts have occupied the reward pool.

However, before you can farm out this endless mission area, you need to have completed the Whispers in the Walls quest and unlocked the Sanctum Anatomica lab beneath the Necralisk. That’s because Armatus is the node right after Sanctum Anatomica.

It also just so happens that there are other pre-requisites and quest requirements for the Whispers in the Walls quest such as:

  • The Heart of Deimos
  • The New War

Thus, Dante isn’t something Warframe beginners can get without spending Platinum. You have to be a bit of a seasoned player. Otherwise, just buy Dante with Platinum in the in-game market.

Once you do get to Armatus, there are still lots of things to consider while farming for Dante. Disruption doesn’t follow the usual AABC reward rotation system from the other endless missions in Warframe.

It has its own rotation, although the reward pool is still divided into A, B, and C. But for the sake of brevity and to get you farming right away, here’s what you need to achieve in Armatus for a chance to get Dante’s Blueprint, Chassis, Neuroptics, and Systems:

  • Successfully defend at least 3 Conduits up to Round 4 onwards.
  • If you can save all 4 Conduits each Round, a Dante part might drop as early as Round 3 onwards.

All Rounds after Round 3 or 4 (depending on how many Counduits you saved) will have a chance to drop a Dante part as a reward as long as you save at least 3 Conduits.

As for the drop chances, they’re low, of course:

  • Dante Blueprint is 7.5%
  • Dante Chassis Blueprint/Dante Neuroptics Blueprint/Dante Systems Blueprint each have 5%.

You might also get duplicates so it’s important to be persistent until you get all four individual blueprints to craft Dante.

Additionally, some enemies in this Armatus like Amalgam Necramechs (Demolisher Voidrig & Bonewidows) drop a resource called Vessel Capillaries. You can trade these Vessel Capillaries to Loid in Sanctum Anatomica for Dante’s parts. Think of it as some kind of pity reward system. Here’s what each Dante part costs:

  • Dante Blueprint – 270 Vessel Capillaries
  • Dante Chassis Blueprint – 90 Vessel Capillaries
  • Dante Neuroptics Blueprint – 90 Vessel Capillaries
  • Dante Systems Blueprint – 90 Vessel Capillaries

Even after that, you’ll still have to wait 3.5 days or 84 hours for crafting Dante in addition to farming the components necessary for crafting. An alternative is to try to earn Platinum through trading with other players and then just purchase Dante in the in-game store.
