Rebel Wilson is making major headlines as her new Rebel Rising memoir details her love life, among other details. The Pitch Perfect actress, 44, got fans talking this week as the book revealed which actor she’d lost her virginity to, with the reveal also seeing the star confirm that she had remained a virgin until the age of 35.
In a candid confession, Rebel stated that she’d waited so long on account of her size — following her 2020 “Year of Health” weight loss journey, Rebel was morbidly obese, however she’s since lost over 80 pounds.
Rebel Wilson Shares Love Life Details In New Book
Rebel lost her virginity to Mickey Gooch Jr., to whom she was romantically linked in 2015. The two also shared a scene in 2016 movie How to be Single.
“Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you,” Wilson writes, then confirming that she and Mickey were an item for six months. She notes that the pair dated for six months. After keeping busy solo with a toy and watching adult content, the star continues: “And then it just happens. I finally have sex. And I guess I get those lovely sex chemicals into my body for the first time ever, which really bonds me to him. I’m at almost my highest weight, but this great guy finds me desirable. It feels amazing.”
Opens Up About Waiting
In a separate reveal discussing her decision to wait until she was 35 to have intercourse, Rebel has said: “People can wait till they’re ready or wait till they’re a bit more mature. And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.”
Rebel is now happy in her long-term, stable relationship with fiancée Ramona Agruma. The two are parents to a daughter named Royce Lillian. Royce was welcomed in 2022 and via a surrogate. Of her baby girl, Rebel said: “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!”
Rebel’s memoir was released on April 2, however the release was delayed on account of Rebel’s bombshell harassment allegations, ones made in the book and accusing actor Sacha Baron Cohen of asking her to appear nude in a movie scene, despite her “no nudity” rule.
