Fighting creatures and saving the helpless of Eorzea are among the few jobs the Warrior of Light has. However, after a day of Cactuar-punching, our characters look for a simpler life in the form of crafting and gathering. For the avid artisans of FFXIV, Custom Deliveries are some of the best side activities you can do in the game. With key endgame currency and a lot of experience for non-combat jobs, these are some side quests you can’t miss when playing.
FFXIV Custom Deliveries – Complete List as of Patch 6.58
As of patch 6.58, there are 10 NPCs with Custom Deliveries in FFXIV. You can unlock this feature as soon as you reach Heavensward areas, more specifically, Idyllshire. After starting the first one, you’ll notice the gist is similar in all: craft specific items, deliver them to the NPC, increase their affection, rinse, and repeat every week. Also, each player has a limit of 12 deliveries per week. This is understandable as it is a great source of experience and gil for a particular Disciple of the Hand or Land job. If you want to level through this method only, I recommend doing deliveries for the crafting or gathering job you like the least. However, I used these quests for my crafters since The Diadem is the best place to level gatherers.
With that out of the way, here’s a full list of all Custom Deliveries in this MMO and how to unlock them:

Should You Do These Quests?
Yes! However, I recommend saving them for the level 70 and 90 brackets. This is where things get extremely grindy, and if you’re not familiar with The Firmament, it’ll take a while to level up your jobs. On the other hand, you can also do Tribal Quests for a lot of experience, and thankfully, most Tribal Quests in Shadowbringers and Endwalker are easy to finish.
Ultimately, it’s up to you to choose which quests to tackle, but Custom Deliveries are fantastic. They offer a lot of currency you’ll need for endgame materials and equipment. Furthermore, most of these NPCs have storylines you can unlock after raising their affection, making that another reward for participating in these activities.
