Although far from a top-tier in AFK Journey, Mirael’s fire can be as dangerous as it is mesmerizing, given her ability to deal massive Ultimate DMG no matter in which stage of the game you are. But taking into account that she —like all Mages— has in her frail constitution her biggest weakness, understanding her kit and selecting the right teammates is a must if you want to set the battlefield ablaze. How to Play Mirael in AFK Journey and All Her Skills
As a Mage specialized in dealing Ultimate DMG, Mirael burns the brightest as a secondary DPS focused on dealing damage from the backline, ideally while under the protection of your frontliners. The latter is a must, as she is a true-to-form glass cannon. Below is a quick description of all of her skills and how to unlock them.

All Mirael Exclusive Equipment Effects, Explained
After you ascend Mirael Mythical+, you will be able to unlock the extra effects part of Dance of Flames. You will unlock the effects after leveling up her Exclusive Equipment to levels +5, +10, and +15. You can check out a full description of each of the effects below:
- +5: Bone Sear will burn two enemies for the rest of the battle following her first use of Winged Flame. She will still be able to apply the regular effect on others.
- +10: Increases the damage of each of the Fireball Singe projectiles generated by Dance of Flames to 160%/110%.
- +15: Increases the damage of each of the Fireball Singe projectiles generated by Dance of Flames to 170%/120%.
Should You Upgrade Her Exclusive Weapon to +5,+10, or +15?
As a mid-tier, I don’t recommend upgrading Mirael’s exclusive equipment above the standard +5. The reason for that lies in how that will be the only time the item will make a truly meaningful impact on her overall set.
Looking from a more direct perspective, its damage increase makes the upgrade a bad investment, especially when we take into account characters like Silvina and Vala, both of which have truly game-changing second Exclusive Weapon passives. You will need to expend a total of 150 Tidal Essences to level up Mirael’s Exclusive Equipment/Weapon to +5.
The Best Mirael Teams in AFK Journey
As we mentioned earlier in our guide, given her title as a glass cannon, using either one or multiple tanks is a must when using Mirael. I also recommend using supports capable of both healing her and supplying her with energy, as well as that of either another dedicated DPS or a flex unit.
For the tank spots, I recommend using Thoran and Antandra. Lucius is also a great alternative, given his ability to supply her with a shield. For the supporting role, I decided to go with Rowan, given his ability to fill all of our support boxes. Lastly, Vala is my main DPS of choice, given her adaptability. This formation will also allow you to get a hefty Faction Bonus boost. To recap, here’s the best team for Mirael in AFK Journey, as well as an alternative that is sure to allow her to excel.
