Supply, or basically how long you can last in Manor Lords, is divided into two categories: Fuel and Food. Fuel is basically just Firewood and is easy to maintain. Food, however, is volatile. You can thank Winter for that. That’s why prioritizing your efforts on sustainable Food sources is paramount to maintaining your kingdom in Manor Lords. So in the spirit of survival, here’s how to get Food in Manor Lords and how to manage it well.
Manor Lords Food Sources
You’re going to want multiple sources of Food in Manor Lords,not just for food variety but also because most of them are on a finite cycle or are affected by seasonal changes.
I listed some of the Food sources in the game and how to obtain them. They are also ordered from easiest to procure to hardest. Consider it a cheat sheet.

It’s worth noting that all of these require a Granary and a Marketplace for storage and distribution, respectfully. Wheat is notably at the mercy of the current season and fertility, making the process of producing bread a bit too tedious. You also need several families for it.
Eggs appear to be available all year round as long as you have Burgage Plot extension spaces. Meanwhile, Meat and Berries can quickly be depleted.
Tips for Managing Food
You’re going to need to tighten your belt and be stingy with the Food in the first few months or even years in Manor Lords. At least be like this until you have a surplus of Food supply for more than 12 months.
Along with that, consider the following tips to make sure your kingdom doesn’t go hungry.
- Avoid Burgage Plots with no backyard extensions. You want to ensure that some Burgage Plots also contribute to the overall Food supply and are not just a literal home.
- Don’t expand your population too fast. Each Burgage Plot consumes one unit of Food, more or less. Expanding too fast without scaling your food production is a recipe for famine.
- Make hay while the sun is shining. Crank up the Berry collection or wild animal hunting when it’s not Winter by adding more families to their respective gathering buildings.
- Build multiple fields and rotate crops or Fallow for fertility.
