Over the past few years, Taylor Swift has made quite a few friends and even a few enemies as well. We all know, however, that she tends to have a flair for the dramatic when it comes to breakups, and because of that, friends and fans alike definitely know some of the relationships Swift has been in and thus, how poorly they ended. Often, Taylor ends up singing about her heartbreak and creating albums about her past relationships. Honestly, that alone made it such a huge surprise to Swifties everywhere that Taylor’s best friend is working with the only inspiration for multiple songs on her album, “Red.”
New SNL Announcement Details Sabrina Carpenter and Jake Gyllenhaal Collaboration
According to Sabrina Carpenter’s latest Twitter/X post, Sabrina and Taylor Swift’s Ex, Jake Gyllenhaal will be working together on the Finale for SNL’s Season 49. As you can imagine, this was quite a shock to Taylor Swift’s most loyal fans.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor dated for quite a few years, and of course, it didn’t end well. Gyllenhaal inspired Taylor for at least a couple of songs on her “Red” album, one of which detailed a scarf that she never got back from his sister’s house.
Fans are going wild, making comments about how Sabrina’s attacking Taylor, and how it sounds like Taylor’s finally going to get that scarf back. Some fans are even telling Carpenter to make sure she doesn’t wear a valuable scarf on set, which is earning quite a few laughs. Some are even saying that Sabrina “needs to perform Espresso (10 Minute Version) (Sabrina’s Version) (From the Vault),” which is how Taylor’s song about Gyllenhaal was titled. This was an obvious play on the scandal that seems to be going on behind closed doors with Gyllenhaal and Carpenter.
The jokes and obvious jabs at Sabrina just seem to keep on coming, and it really makes you wonder what will happen with Taylor Swift’s and Sabrina Carpenter’s friendship after May 18th, when the season finale of SNL goes live.
