As we approached the 2024 Met Gala over the past week, fans were waiting in anticipation to see Zendaya‘s look for this year. Zendaya hadn’t begun having her dress made until only days before the gala, so when she finally appeared on the stairs, her dress was absolutely dropping jaws. Zendaya is a co-chair for the event for the first time alongside Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Anna Wintour.

Zendaya appeared wearing a gorgeous blue and green mermaid-style gown. It is covered in beautiful foliage, leaves, berries, and a blue hummingbird hovering above her shoulder. Her gown, featuring green and blue stripes, draped to the floor. She is also wearing mesh netting accompanied by a large feather. For her makeup, she wears a dramatic style with red-toned eyes and dark lipstick that contrasts with the ensemble perfectly.
We all know that Zendaya loves to boast her creativity in her Met Gala outfits, and this year is no exception. In the last few years that she made an appearance at the Met Gala, she appeared in outfits ranging from a chain mail style that was inspired by Joan of Arc to a gown that’s covered in floral and parrot patterns by Dolce & Gabbana.
As always, Zendaya looks fabulous and pulls off the look perfectly as she struts her way through the Met Gala. She’s surely made an impression this year.
