Furs and jewels are among the essential materials in your quest for better armor. A vampire king needs the best of the best, and that includes the finest clothing. To get a better outfit in V Rising, you must know how to get reagents like the Coarse Thread. With this item, you can craft level 3 and 4 gear, such as the Nightstalker armor. This is important during the early game, as the race to increase your gear score is a long one, and this small ingredient can do wonders for you.
Where To Find Coarse Thread in V Rising
At the beginning of the game, the easiest way to obtain a Coarse Thread is from humans. That’s right; humans have a lot of thread and other essential items that can help you. So, if you find Bandit Camps, Bandit Logging Camps, or Bandit Trapper Camps on your way, don’t hesitate to pay them a night visit. You will find the Coarse Thread by breaking barrels, wooden crates, or opening chests, and, of course, defeating humans.
How to Craft Coarse Thread
However, you can’t always depend on bandits, and in the long run, it will be easier to craft the Coarse Thread in your V Rising castle. So it will be easier for you to build the Loom. Yet, to get this machine, you must reach Act II, have approximately a gear score level of 40, and defeat Beatrice the Tailor, a V Blood Carrier. Beating Beatrice is simple; she doesn’t really attack you, but she will be running all over town while the humans attack you with everything to defend her. Once you get Beatrice’s rewards, you will be able to create the Loom; you will only need these materials to build it:
- 20 Plank
- 12 Copper Ingot
- 4 Wool Thread
With the Loom, you can craft items like Carpet Roll, which is used to create decorations for the castle, like carpets and curtains. Also, you can craft Cloth and Coarse Thread for better armor. To craft Coarse Thread, you will only need x8 Plant Fibre and x12 Pollen, which you can get by cutting plants with your sword around the map. You can obtain Pollen by putting flowers in the Grinder.
With the Loom, you will already have the main items needed to upgrade your armor. Of course, you will also need to build the Tailoring bench, which is where you will find the recipes to make new armor. You will need them to complete Act II of the game and continue advancing, especially if you want to get more vampiric skills from the V Blood Carriers or defeat Dracula himself.
