Kevin Spacey was once considered one of Hollywood’s most talented stars. During his lucrative career, the actor took home two Oscar wins for his roles in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects. However, behind the scenes, Spacey allegedly displayed disturbing behavior. In a new documentary titled Spacey Unmasked, the actor’s troubling childhood and sexual assault allegations were detailed by those close to him and his accusers. One of the most shocking accounts of Spacey’s childhood trauma came from his own brother, Randy Fowler, who shared dark claims about their father, Thomas Fowler.
The documentary kicks off with Randy conveying his account of his childhood with Spacey. He claimed that their father, Thomas, was a racist that used to host “Nazi meetings” in their family’s home. Randy described his father as a deeply unhappy person who was “full of so much hate.”
Randy Fowler revealed his account of his youth with Thomas, claiming that his father would often beat him with a riding crop. Spacey’s brother also exposed heartbreaking memories of being sexually abused by his father as a young teenager, per The Wrap.
Kevin Spacey’s accusers also shared their stories of the actor’s abuse. Many claim that Spacey had an attraction to straight men who served in the military. Spacey accuser Travis Aaron Wade revealed that the actor was specifically interested in him because he was a former Marine who adamantly announced that he was a straight man.

“He goes, ‘Oh, darling, there’s nothing like flipping. There’s nothing like flipping a U.S. Marine who looks like you,'” Wade recalled.
Spacey’s attraction to men in the military was made brutally clear to another one of his accusers, who admitted that he caught the actor inappropriately touching himself during a viewing of the graphic war film Saving Private Ryan.
However, Kevin Spacey’s alleged abuse didn’t stop there. He reportedly assaulted people he worked closely with at the Old Vic Theatre Company. Performers, staff members, and workshop participants were allegedly involved in the actor’s indecent behavior.
“I started to get scared of coming to work,” one staff member confessed.
After Spacey was cast on the Netflix series House of Cards, his behavior was made more apparent. One production assistant named Evelyn spoke out against the actor, saying that his behavior was “known” on set. She claimed that production knowingly hired more women in hopes of keeping the male cast and crew members safe from Spacey’s predatory nature.
“I was touched. I was inappropriately touched on set at work,” one of Spacey’s accusers said of his time working on the series.
After the allegations of Kevin Spacey’s sexual misconduct were made public, charges were brought against the actor. However, a jury in London found him not guilty of the charges.
“I have consistently denied — and now successfully defended — numerous allegations made both in the U.S. and the U.K., both criminal and civil, and each time have been able to source evidence undermining the allegations and have been believed by a jury of my peers,” Spacey previously stated.
Since the allegations hit, Kevin Spacey hasn’t worked in Hollywood. However, he still has some powerful and famous friends. According to Fox News, actors such as Sharon Stone and Liam Neeson have praised the accused sexual predator.
“I can’t wait to see Kevin back at work,” Stone previously stated. “He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will. It’s terrible that [aspiring actors] are blaming him for not being able to come to terms with themselves for using him and negotiating with themselves because they didn’t get their secret agendas,” she added.
Neese echoed the sentiments, calling Spacey a “man of character” and one of the “finest artists in the theater and on camera.”
Kevin Spacey continues to defend himself and his innocence. In response to the documentary, the star said that he was given sufficient time to respond to the allegations.
