Kel Mitchell’s ex-wife, Tyisha Hampton, has broken her silence on the allegations leveled against her by the Nickelodeon star. Recall that Kel Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton recently made the headlines after the actor accused her of infidelity on the Club Shay Shay podcast. What’s more, Mitchell accused his former wife of getting pregnant by other men while they were married. Days after the viral interview, Hampton denied the claims, calling the comedian a liar. To make matters worse, she accused Mitchell of physical and mental abuse.
Kel Mitchell Accuses His Ex-wife of Cheating
On Wednesday, Kel Mitchell sparked a huge controversy, all thanks to his chat with host Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast. During the episode, the 45-year-old made some shocking and derogatory accusations about his ex-wife. Mitchell claimed Hampton was unfaithful and even got pregnant by other men during their marriage.
“I ended up marrying my ex-wife because we had another baby. We had the abortion and then we had a baby…and she ended up telling me the baby that was aborted wasn’t mine,” he shared.
Mitchell then admitted that his marriage to Hampton never remained the same after that discovery. The Game Shakers star also shared details of how he caught his ex-wife during one of her alleged cheating escapades.
“I got in the whip, went driving around, saw her whip. I saw it at the hotel. I go to the lobby. Turns out dude just came walking down the lobby about to go to the car. My car that she was driving. I’m like, ‘Oh, OK, what’s up? Take me upstairs,'” he said.
Upon going upstairs, Mitchell revealed he saw Hampton in the man’s hotel room, and he furiously walked away. But despite knowing about his ex-wife’s infidelity at the start of their romance, the singer noted that he chose to stay to make things work.
Kel Mitchell’s Ex-Wife Fires Back at the Actor
A day after the episode aired, Kel Mitchell’s ex-wife took to TikTok to refute the claims. In a video, the mother of two called Mitchell’s claims “ridiculous lies,” noting that she never cheated.
“So Kel, who is this person that was pregnant? Because that’s not me. Like, who is this? And then another thing is like, how do you remember all these pregnancies, but you don’t remember your kids for like years? Like 13, I don’t know, 14?” she said.
Hampton then went ahead to accuse the actor of being physically and mentally abusive. She claimed Mitchell would beat, hit, choke, and strangle her. In another video, Hampton called her ex-husband a liar noting that his claims were ridiculous.
“All of this abortions and all this stuff, the reason why he says all of these things, I think are because he’s a narcissist,” she said.
Overall, Hampton said no other man impregnated her while she was married and that Mitchell was only trying to deflect from his cheating and abuse. Now, fans are looking forward to the next Kel Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton drama. Meanwhile, the actor is yet to respond to his ex-wife’s revelations.
