Sean “Diddy” Combs has a pretty intense reputation that includes assault, criminal possession of weapons, sex trafficking, and much more, but after his latest spectacle involving Me & U singer, Cassie, things have gotten a bit out of hand. It’s rare that Diddy actually faces any type of criminal charges, but after the recently revealed video of him violently beating Cassie in a hotel, things are about to change. Diddy knows his time’s just about up if his apology video is any clue.
Diddy Apologizes For Beating Ex Cassie
After the resurfacing of an event from eight years ago, things are getting intense for Diddy as all the evidence surrounding the incident is impossible to avoid. Back in 2016, Diddy was caught on a hotel camera brutally beating his girlfriend at the time, Cassie, and refusing to let her take her belongings with her from the room. After kicking her, Diddy took her belongings and headed back inside the room. It’s obvious that Cassie was only trying to flee rather than to instigate the fight in any way, but Diddy put an end to that with a few kicks.
In the Diddy apology video posted on Instagram, he says, “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that. I was f–ed up, I mean I hit rock bottom. But I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now.” He adds, “I went and I sought out professional help. I had to go into therapy and go into rehab; had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.“
“It is disturbing and inhumane what Diddy did to Cassie, but who are we to judge him? Diddy claimed to be a changed man promoting love a few years ago. It’s unfortunate that his past has come back to hunt him even as a changed man,” says an Instagram user in support of Diddy.

While Diddy has loads of supporters that are willing to see how rough of a time he was having back then, some aren’t so quick to forgive him for his actions and look past them. “You saying sorry to us but you need to be apologizing to Cassie bro… plus u said it was all lies…blah blah…you know what diddy… I’m done wit u, I don’t even know what to say fr….” says one disgusted user in a comment. “So basically you took your frustration out on Cassie,” says another. “You sorry you got caught. If you was sorry you would’ve addressed it 8 years ago when it happened Goofball.”
