On Roblox, Shinobi Battlegrounds is all about PVP, and for a beginner, that can be a rude wake-up call. Come to think of it, it isn’t different from the other Shinobi Battlegrounds experience on Roblox. Without training, you’re going to get your ears boxed or sent across the map by a tornado made of sand. It doesn’t help that the gameplay loop isn’t explained, either. Worry not, my young pupil; you’re in good hands.
Shinobi Battlegrounds Beginners Guide: The Basics
How to Customize Your Character
Before you even dive into our beginner’s guide for Shinobi Battlegrounds, why don’t we fix your character up? Your character is randomized by default, and like most aspects of the game, it isn’t entirely obvious that you can make adjustments. In fact, character customization is a little hidden.
At the main menu, choose the KG Spin option. Rather than interact with the chest, you can choose “Customization” instead. There are plenty of options to craft a unique character, and while you’re at it, you can spin for a better element. It’ll cost you 50 Ryo, and I wish you the best of luck in getting Lightning or Fire!
Understanding the Controls
Unless you’re told by someone else, Shinobi Battlegrounds gives you very little in the way of controls. Sure, you can see which keys are your abilities, but did you know you need chakra to cast them? Lucky for you, the controls are right here:
- Q: Perform a dash
- F: Block
- C: Regain chakra (must be held down)
- Movement: Moving is done with WASD
- Ctrl: You’ll break out into a sprint. It’s toggled, so I suggest leaving it on
- Left Click: You’ll start a combo with your fists
- R, T, Z, X, E, 1, 2, 3, 4: Abilities and skills
By the looks of it, pretty much everything is within reach, so you won’t have to stretch your hand all the way to the end of the number line.
How to Level Up Fast in Roblox Shinobi Battlegrounds
Levels are of utmost importance in Roblox Shinobi Battlegrounds. With just a few levels under your belt, your character will have a much bigger health pool and, in turn, be able to withstand more attacks from other players. There’s a lot of spamming that goes on in Shinobi Battlegrounds, making it incredibly important to have plenty of health.
There are two ways to level: punching logs all day and PVP. No matter how you slice it, PVP is the best way to level up fast. Whenever you step into the On Point Areas strewn about the game, you’ll even get double XP, not to mention twice as much Ryo, too.
Of course, not everyone is ready to PVP. In that case, you’ll be punching logs outside of the city until you’ve got a decent health pool. Around Level 10 to Level 15 is usually a good place to start, especially if you rolled a good element.
What Kekkei Genkai (KG) Is, Explained
Kekkei Genkai (also known as “KG”) are essentially medallions that grant you unique abilities based on characters from Naruto. For example, the Sand KG gives you the powers of Gaara. You can equip four Kekkei Genkais at a time; however, only one is unlocked, another that’s locked behind a gamepass and the last two unlocked with Ryo.
The silver lining is that Kekkei Genkai can be obtained with nothing but Ryo. When you’re at the main menu, choose “KG Spin” and you’ll see a chest. You can feed it 50 Ryo for a random Kekkei Genkai. If you’re short on Ryo, try using Roblox codes!
Keep in mind that if all your Kekkei Genkai slots are filled, you’ll replace one of your equipped KG. Make sure you select the one you wish to replace before you roll for a new KG.
Shinobi Battlegrounds: How to Earn Ryo Fast
Ryo makes the Shinobi Battlegrounds go around. You may need a lot of Ryo just to spend on rolling for a better element and Kekkei Genkai, too. One of the two fastest ways to earn Ryo quickly is by completing your daily quests. Mastery quests are worth doing, too, but those are finite.
Completing a single daily quest will net you 199 to 300 Ryo and almost always revolve around killing 10 players as specific characters. At the very least, you can unlock three chests from a single daily quest.
Another way is to enter the game and choose “AFK” from the main menu. A timer will count down, rewarding a small amount of Ryo each time. You can AFK overnight and earn a fair bit of Ryo.
