The moment the Colossal Titan attacked Wall Maria, everything changed. Getting attacked by slack-jawed, cannibalistic giants is awful, but having no way to defend yourself is worse, and the Survey Corps simply wasn’t prepared. In Attack on Titan Revolution, you can claim the Titans’ power for yourself, but only if you’re willing to brave some of the hardest levels in the game. Survive and you’ll lay claim to a rare and valuable item that could mean all the difference in the war.
Though Eren didn’t make the cut in Anime Last Stand, his power is still a force to be reckoned with. Titan Shifting allows you to transform from a human into a destructive giant. That makes battles much easier (and also just looks cool), so getting it is a no-brainer. Here’s what you need to do to activate Titan Shifting:
- Win Attack Serum by completing a mission of Aberrant (A-Grade) difficulty
- Unlock the Titan Shifting skill
- Assign the Serum to a hotkey
- Deal damage and kill Titans to build up your shift bar
- Press the Serum’s hotkey to activate Titan Shifting
Only missions of Aberrant difficulty offer Serum as a reward, so if you want to transform, you’re in for a fight. Attack Serum has a low drop rate, so your odds of getting it as a mission reward are less than 1%. That said, the Giant Forest map has the best odds of dropping Attack Serum, so that’s the level you’ll want to farm for this item, despite the army of Crawlers, Pure Titans, and Abnormals in your way.
Titan Abilities
Performing Titan Shifting is only the first step in Attack on Titan Revolution: you then need to wield your Titan’s powers. Titan Shifting has a 30-second cooldown, so you’ll need to time your attack well. Thankfully, you have several abilities in Titan form that can turn the tide of battle. Here’s what Titan Shifting lets you do:
- Brutal Stomp – dealing crushing AoE damage to nearby foes
- Eject and Force Eject – exit Titan form
- Corkscrew Punch – strike all enemies within a line
- Hardening – reduces incoming damage and buffs you
- Roar – restores lost HP and stuns nearby Titans
- Uppercut – multi-target melee attack with AoE splash
- Boxing Mastery (passive) – buffs damage and attack speed
- Shifter Mastery (passive) – increases the duration of Titan form as well as regen
Who needs ODM gear and swords when you can just punch everything into oblivion? With Titan Shifting, your foes will have more than just the Rumbling to worry about.
