Travis Kelce has been the best tight end in the NFL for years now. The Kansas City Chiefs have dominated football and are looking for their third straight Super Bowl in this upcoming season. However, the NFL has given Kelce’s title of top dog to the San Francisco 49ers tight end, George Kittle. Many believe this to be the cause of Kelce spending his offseason partying and flying around the world with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
According to MSN, Kelce has led tight ends in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions. Even so, the only reason fans can think of for Kelce’s drop is his offseason behavior. Twitter has been blowing up with comments about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. As well as theories on why Kelce is no longer ranked first in his position.

“All I can go by is how he looks, and he looked horrible for this week’s podcast. I have common sense, though you aren’t resting if you’re flying all over; that’s not relaxing, and he’s always shown drinking. At 35, he should be taking better care of himself,” one fan said.
“I am more concerned with him getting injured. He doesn’t seem to be taking care of his body this off-season. Between getting drunk and partying and wanting to be a movie star, not to mention flying all over for his girlfriend, not much training or resting,” another wrote.
However, Kelce is still a top talent in the NFL. Although he lost his spot as number one, he still has the best QB in the league, throwing him passes. The Cleveland native could easily regain his spot after this season.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been very busy this offseason. The couple have been seen almost everywhere together, including overseas. However, if Kelce has a bad 2024-25 season, fans will surely pin all the blame on Swift.
