Brad appears to share those thoughts too. As his oldest biological daughter Shiloh turned 18 this month, one insider revealed that the actor hoped to fix their broken bond. However, the budding dancer, now an adult, is determined to prove her feelings for him are completely independent of her mom’s influence.
Brad Pitt’s Daughter Axes Him From Her Life With Surname Drop
The 18-year-old recently made the shocking move to drop Pitt from her last name. TMZ obtained court documents confirming this move on Thursday. Per the legal records, Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie Pitt filed the paperwork on her 18th birthday on May 27. The teenager demands her legal name officially becomes Shiloh Jolie, axing her dad’s surname completely. The court has yet to officially grant this request.
Neither Shiloh Jolie Pitt nor her parents have addressed this big move to alter her surname. However, given she pulled the strings as her first major decision as an adult, Brad Pitt’s daughter clearly wanted the message to hit home. And it did.
Aside from his oldest biological daughter Shiloh Jolie, Brad Pitt’s other kids have made it clear in their own subtle way that they want nothing to do with their dad. Serving as a PA on a Broadway musical this year, his 15-year-old daughter Vivienne simply listed her name as Vivienne Jolie. Adopted daughter, Zahara, 19, has also axed Pitt from her name, even without going the legal route. Sources also claim that the oldest of the bunch, Maddox, 22 also does without the Pitt surname these days.
While the actual family dynamics are unclear, Shiloh Jolie Pitt’s message to her dad is as scalding as it gets. Just days before, an insider revealed that as a legal adult, Shiloh now had the leverage to “make up her own mind,” and decide what direction she wanted her relationship with her dad to take. The source believed the kids never had that liberty to decide, as Angelina Jolie made sure to keep them away from Brad Pitt as much as possible. By the looks, Shiloh now has her mind made up, and it’s quite nasty for the Pitt camp.
