Zendaya is continuing to spark weight worries as fans on Instagram comment on her incredibly slender physique. The actress, 27, has spent much of the first half of 2024 promoting her new Challengers movie, making headlines for embracing method dressing in a never-ending carousel of stylish, tennis-themed looks, but fans seem worried.
In late March, Zendaya attended a photo call for the movie in Australia. Rocking a skimpy two-piece as she highlighted her model-like figure, the former Disney star wowed as she rocked the sheer trend while modeling a head-to-toe white outfit, and for some, she was looking far too thin.
Zendaya Stuns In Tennis Look For ‘Challengers’
Outfitted in a custom Lacoste outfit, Zendaya mixed tennis style with couture chic as she showed off her minuscule waist and slim shoulders in a white crop top paired with a pair of matching briefs.
Dressing her look up via a sheer, thigh-slit white skirt that added a daywear red carpet feel, the Euphoria actress got leggy as she completed her ensemble in white stiletto heels, flaunting her toned legs as she posed with her costars and wore her hair tied up. The images were shared by Just Jared, who wrote: “Zendaya wowed in another tennis-themed outfit while promoting her movie #Challengers in Australia with costars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor.”
Told She Keeps ‘Getting Thinner’
While a significant chunk of users gushed over Zendaya and her stylish look, others focused on her weight. “Is it just me who thinks she is getting thinner every time we see her?” a fan wrote, gaining over 300 likes for their reply.
While one user agreed as they replied: “Yeah,” another wondered if Zendaya is sending out an unhealthy body-image message. “Her head is wider than her waist. This is not “naturally thin.” It’s “promoting eating disorders,” they wrote. A further fan said that they “agree,” and that Zendaya is, indeed, getting “thinner every time.”
Others, however, argued that the actress is naturally slender and doesn’t appear to have a problem.
Zendaya has, here and there, opened up about her favorite foods. Fans know that she’s a fan of ramen with hot sauce, rice salads, and takeout. She even treats herself to In-N-Out when she’s in the mood for fast food.
“Don’t mess with me and my Haagen Dazs,” the actress has written on Instagram. Comments left to the photo call did not, however, see users accusing Zendaya of using weight loss drug Ozempic, something that stars including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Christina Aguilera have all been accused of using.
