Carrie Underwood’s fans immediately took to the comments section to share their thoughts about the photo, per She Finds. Although some mentioned the singer’s outfit, others her friendship with Ludacris. However, many spoke out about how Underwood’s face seems to look different than in the past.
“Wow!! This doesn’t even look like Carrie Underwood. Why is she having this awful work done? She was so beautiful. Now, she looks like every other celebrity having horrible plastic surgery done,” one comment read.
Another stated, “Didn’t even recognize Carrie! Looks like she may have had some ‘work’ done!” A third person added that the singer looks “20 years older” than before. “I don’t understand why someone so beautiful would do that. However, it was previously reported that the music superstar had issues with being too focused on her looks in the past. Sources told Life and Style that her husband, Mike Fisher, was forced to intervene.
