Marvel is helping fans get ready for the upcoming X-men relaunch with a new Marvel Unlimited series; X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic. Over the past few months, the publisher has been prepping fans for what is to come with several new series announcements. These titles have helped shaped what the From the Ashes era will look like. This globe-spanning era will see the formation of new mutant teams to take on new threats and some characters are finally fulfilling their personal destinies. It harkens back to classic X-Men storytelling while also keeping the franchise’s evolution in mind.

From the Ashes is an exciting new start for the X-Men. Now, Marvel is making sure the transition from one era to another is easy for fans with this new Infinity Comic. X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic is out now from writer Alex Paknadel and artist Diogenes Neves. It picks up right after the fall of Krakoa in X-Men #35 and will lead directly into Jed MacKay’s X-Men #1. MacKay’s new title sees Cyclops leading a new team of X-Men into battle for the destiny of mutants.

X-Men: From the Ashes Infinity Comic #1 puts the spotlight on the relationship between Cyclops and Jean Grey. In the From the Ashes era, Cyclops is busy leading a team of X-Men while Jean Grey is once again the host to the Phoenix force on her own mission. However, this Infinity Comic will showcase how the two take some time for themselves and their relationship. As they prepare to head out on bigger missions, how will they maintain their relationship? Also, a new deadly force threatens the couple and may have ramifications for how they move forward.
