Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s marriage may be on the rocks. However, that allegedly hasn’t stopped the singer from trying to push her husband into a new career path. Sources are claiming that JLo believes that the actor could be a good politician. However, she’s not urging him to run for city council or even governor. She wants her man to be the future President and her the First Lady. While this may sound offbeat to some, it seems that the Atlas star thinks the world of her husband and wants him to pursue some big goals.
Lopez is reportedly navigating her messy romance with Affleck. As she does, she’s said to be working hard to save her marriage and give her husband whatever he needs to make things work, per The Dirt Factory. She’s said to have even canceled her summer tour to spend more time with Affleck and their family as they work through whatever issues they are having in their relationship. Meanwhile, JLo may believe that pushing Affleck toward some new goals would do him good. Even if one of those goals is politics.

Of course, fans had a field day with the suggestion of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez taking over the White House.
“The bar for President is pretty low these days,” one fan commented. “Ronald Reagan was the Governor of California before becoming President. He was a politician for quite a while after his acting career. Ben acts like he’s smarter than he is,” another wrote. “He could be president of AA if he’s lucky,” another harsh comment read.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck haven’t made any public moves to suggest that they’re looking for a political power move. Although, other celebs have made political runs in the past. The future is unpredictable. However, it seems that Bennifer has much bigger issues to work out in their marriage before looking to make a Presidential push.
