After helping Failsafe out with figuring out what’s goin on with the Vex, she needs your help one more time. Now, her goal is to figure out exactly why the Vex and Nessus are changing, and collecting information on Specimen ID: NES001 might just be the thing that Failsafe needs. Let’s take a look at how to complete the Specimen ID: NES001 quest, unlock Munitions Deployment Apparatus, and Primary Echo Engram Focusing in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

Failsafe has asked you to extract additional Vex data to further her research. She has diverted Vanguard resources to your deployment.

Research Instrument Fabricated: Munitions Deployment Apparatus – When receiving a buff in Breach Executable, also unlock extra relics or munitions to aid you in combat.

  • Failsafe has found that the incubator specimen contains remnants of both radiolite and base radiolaria. She requires more ambient data from interactions with Vex.
  • Secure Extracted Data for Failsafe in the Breach Executable activity, which can be launched from the H.E.L.M.
  • Higher-difficulty completions grant faster progress.
    • Collect Extracted Data
    • Activate one Planetary Assimilation Piston

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
