Musgraves teased a mystery project on her Instagram Story on Friday. In the mirror selfie, she appears to be in glam, completely nude but covered in a muddy brown substance. She maintained modesty with a carefully placed brown heart emoji but provided no further information on what she was up to.
Some people think that Kacey’s teasing her look in a new music video. Others think she might be releasing some kind of product — perhaps the mystery brown substance she has slathered on in the image.
Kacey’s Never Been Shy About Baring It All
Kacey Musgraves has had a bare moment with her audience before. In an October 2021 performance on Saturday Night Live, the singer performed completely nude — with a strategically placed guitar. Some thought she was wearing a sheer body suit until a representative for the singer confirmed that she was, in fact, naked during the performance.
She was nude. Precautions were taken, and this was the first time it’s happened on the show.

Kacey Musgraves also posed nude in one of the covers for her latest album, “Deeper Well.” While she holds a flower and stares into the camera in one variety of the cover, the other has her lying naked in a grassy field, in the fetal position and facing away from the camera.
