A Dusty Trip Humvee Unlock Guide
Before you can worry about whether the Humvee is worth it, you need to unlock it. All it takes is a dull fetch quest, although it can take a while, depending on your luck. Just swing by the military bay for a chat with General Sheppard. Here’s what you need to do:
- Speak with General Sheppard in the hub (pictured above)
- Accept his mission to find 25 Dog Tags
- Go to the Desert
- Drive until you find a house, then search it for Dog Tags
- Once you’ve found 25 Dog Tags, give them to General Sheppard for the Humvee
If you’ve completed the Camper Van’s comic book quest, you’ll recognize the process of searching for Dog Tags right away. They follow the same formula. Although that means getting this humdinger of a Humvee takes a while, there are no big obstacles. The greatest challenge is patience, as searching the mostly empty map for Dog Tags can get frustrating. Still, you can always reset and try again if the spawns don’t go your way.
Is the Humvee Worth It?
The Humvee guzzles Fuel fast and requires Oil and Water as well. Its poor economy means keeping this vehicle on the road can be a bit of a headache. On the plus side, it seats four and has plenty of storage. The best thing about the Humvee in A Dusty Trail is its armor, which makes getting through perilous areas much easier. If you’re more interested in traction control and handling, however, you’re better off steering clear. Overall, the Humvee isn’t worth it in A Dusty Trail, unless you just want a complete collection.
