Justin Timberlake might just have put the final nail in the coffin of his marriage to Jessica Biel. The couple of 12 years has been plagued with reports of marital troubles over the years. However, Timberlake seemingly confirmed the rumors had truth to them with a messy arrest on Monday. Sag Harbor Police officers took the Cry Me a River singer into custody for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in New York. Fans believe the embarrassing moment is certain to tip Biel over the edge and inspire her to end the union.
The law-breaking incident occurred around 12:30 AM after Timberlake exited the American Hotel in Sag Harbor after a night of partying with his pals. Per sources, almost immediately after the singer began driving, cops pulled him over for blowing past a stop sign. They performed a field sobriety test after noticing Timberlake had “bloodshot/glassy eyes” and reeked of alcohol. He, unfortunately, failed all the tests and refused to take a breathalyzer test.
After a night in custody, the Sag Harbor Police Department released Timberlake without bail. Before his release, they arraigned and charged the 43-year-old with one count of DWI and cited him for running a stop sign and failing to keep in his lane. TMZ reports that famous criminal defense lawyer Ed Burke Jr. represents Timberlake. His next court appearance is on July 26.

Timberlake’s fresh run-in with the law has fans more than convinced that his wife, Biel, will want to cut all ties. The lovebirds have not spent time together in recent times. The 42-year-old is busy filming her new Amazon Prime Video series, The Better Sister. With the time apart, the DWI arrest seems like a crack in the foundation of their marriage. One fan predicted, “Idk, I just feel like we’re getting a Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake divorce before the end of the year. Just a feeling.” Another similar comment read, “Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel’s separation/divorce announcement will be coming soon.”
