Travis Scott has landed himself in police custody after behaving erratically in Florida. Miami police officers arrested the rapper early Thursday morning after a drunken altercation on a boat. Scott has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Just last month, he got into a heated brawl with another rapper.
Police officers of the Miami Beach Marina Department responded to a fight on one of the boats at the marina. Scott reportedly argued with an occupant on a yacht, who called the cops to boot the rapper off the vessel. The goosebumps rapper was immediately escorted off the boat but he didn’t go out without some trouble. Witnesses told TMZ that he continued to rain insults on the people aboard as cops walked him past the docks to an already waiting car.
However, Scott persisted with his anger and even told the officers he was “gonna catch a fade.” To their surprise, he returned to the dock five minutes later and attempted to get on the boat again. Authorities immediately intercepted his mission, resulting in an erratic and aggressive display from the Astroworld Festival creator. Scott was arrested and cops said his breath reeked of alcohol. They booked him into the county jail and charged him for trespass and disorderly intoxication. The 33-year-old posted bond almost immediately and has since been released. Although the incident in Miami didn’t get too violent, Travis Scott has been on a fighting spree lately. In late May, the SICKO MODE artist got into a brawl with fellow rapper Tyga at Richie Akiva’s after-party event at the Cannes Film Festival. After the promoter invited both stars on stage, sources claimed Scott was unhappy about being grouped along with Tyga and acted out.
He reportedly snatched the microphone from the promoter, escalating the situation. Scott and 808 Mafia producer Southside then got into a physical fight with Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, who accompanied Tyga to the event. Security managed to step in and stop the brawl, but not before videos were taken. Clips immediately went viral, with fans suggesting Kylie Jenner was responsible for the tussle. However, who is to blame now for Scott’s continued violent behavior?
