Miranda Lambert likely braved soaring temperatures as she shot her latest music video in Texas, then posted snaps and videos from it to her Instagram. The country singer, 40, released her “Wranglers” track in May and is now ramping up promo for the June 28 release of her “DAMNIT RANDY” single. Here, she was plugging the former.
Posting to IG four days ago, Miranda upped the country vibes as she included a Jeep in a shoot seeing her clad in a cowgirl look, and she went heavy on the denim. Anyone swiping also saw the Grammy winner lugging around a heavy box. Looks like Miranda is happy to do her own heavy lifting!
Miranda Lambert Shows Off Cowgirl Look On Instagram
Opening the door of her black Jeep, Miranda sent out Western bombshell vibes as she highlighted her hourglass figure in a form-fitting pair of bootcut blue jeans.
Going belted, the “Bluebird” singer added in a denim shirt to match, completing her stylish look with her signature cowboy boot finish. Wearing her blonde locks down, Miranda barely showed her face as she looked ready to hit the road, with the next slide showing the car cruising through a country lane and passing grazing horses.
Going sassy and strong in her third slide, Miranda returned with three females, posing in the same double denim look and flashing hints of a dark top as she wore her shirt a little unbuttoned. Here, the ex to Blake Shelton carried a massive wicker basket overflowing with items that included a plaid picnic blanket.
Jokes No Jeeps Were ‘Harmed’
In a caption, Lambert wrote: “Disclaimer: no @jeep Wranglers were harmed in the making of this music video.”
Interestingly, further slides had included more Jeep action, plus night-time bomb fire fun. “Why did I think this song was gonna be about jeans, not jeeps,” one fan replied with a laughing emoji. Eyeing up the vehicle, another said: “I need this jeep! Been dreaming of one forever!”
“Wranglers” isn’t about Jeeps or jeans. The feminine-strong track is about women who’ve been scorned, and Miranda has opened up about it.
“‘Wranglers’ is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back,” the songstress revealed in a statement, adding: “I think we can all identify with the character in this video, because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us.”
Miranda is followed by 4.8 million on Instagram.
