Prince William has more relevant issues to focus on than an overblown beef with his brother Prince Harry. The Prince of Wales has made that clear even to royal fans and bystanders observing the family’s never-ending woes from the sidelines. Prince William, faced with caring for his ailing wife Kate Middleton, and his dad, King Charles while handling his royal duties has struggled to maintain structure these past months.
Sadly, the royal family’s health predicament has made it increasingly hard, and the last thing he needs is further complications. However, these incessant public blows from Prince Harry only serve to anger him, making the royal life more complicated. To shield himself from it all, the Prince of Wales resolved to put his feelings first and block out his brother completely. Royal commentator Ingrid Seward explained,
“William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily. His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed.”
In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry discussed his strained relationship with his brother, making some disparaging remarks about Prince William. While the 42-year-old has yet to recover from the impact of the book, he remains focused on caring for his wife and dad, both diagnosed with cancer this year. Following his wife’s abdominal surgery in January, the prince took time off his royal duties to stay by her side, doubling as a mom and dad to his kids.
