Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Hollywood dreams are reportedly being crushed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be losing favor in Los Angeles and with other celebrity friends. The couple’s inner circle is allegedly dwindling away as their feud with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family continues. While the duo were once surrounded by A-list pals, that’s no longer the case.
Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, recently revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s friendships with other stars aren’t what they used to be. The royals once rubbed elbows with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and others. However, those friendships have fizzled out throughout the years since they left the royal family behind, per She Finds.

“Harry and Meghan’s circle is getting smaller and smaller. I think the A-list stars are dropping like flies,” Burrell told Closer, per The Sun. “Some already have done – Oprah no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dropped them.”
“Back in the day, the A-listers were riding on the moment – Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time, when they got married, but there’s since been a decline,” he continued.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently struggling to keep their A-list circle of friends intact. However, the same can’t be said for Prince William. Harry’s older brother is thriving as he sits next in line for the throne behind their father, King Charles.
Last month, William was spotted with his two oldest children, George and Charlotte, as they had a blast at Taylor Swift’s London show. The Prince of Wales was spotted dancing wildly and having a great time with the kids. He even later went backstage and met Swift, as well as her boyfriend Travis Kelce. The group took a selfie together, proving just how far the monarchy’s reach is.
It seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s quest for fame and the United States may not be working out the way they had hoped. However, Prince William is living it up with some very influential people amid the rift in their family.
