In a video posted six days ago, the 39-year-old pop star showed off her recent weight loss as she busied herself with some household chores, although there was a humorous twist as she kept her various accolades clean.
Spraying down five of her six diamond awards from the Recording Industry Association of America, Katy played housewife in a video that received mixed reviews, and it looks like this celebrity’s fans spot every last detail. While Katy earned herself over 300,000 likes, one of the most-liked comments picked her up on chewing gum in the video, with the fan calling it “upsetting.” The gum-chewing was mentioned in several separate replies as users appeared to reel over the habit.

Filmed indoors as she modeled a thigh-skimming pair of faded black shorts paired with a matching jacket, Katy highlighted her slimmed-down frame while also rocking a baseball cap.
Using cleaning spray and a cloth, the American Idol judge kept busy cleaning up her awards, looking totally relaxed as she chewed her gum. Fans even got close-up footage of the brunette’s manicured hands as she polished up her awards to a squeaky-clean finish.
In a caption, the 2024 Cannes Film Festival face wrote: “Just did some housecleaning this weekend hbu.” At the end of the video, Katy casually shrugged her shoulders before walking off.
Told The Chewing Gum Is ‘Upsetting’
A staggering 7,000+ users have now liked a comment criticizing Katy for chewing gum. “The gum chewing is upsetting me,” the fan said. Another user, meanwhile, echoed the thought as they said: “It’s the chewing gum for me,” although that remark could have gone either way.
