An increasingly “growing rift” has emerged between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and the reason is none other than the Duchess’ narcissistic view on her life. Speaking to The Mirror, royal author Tom Quinn claims that the ex-royals’ problems with their brand, partnership deals, and poor reputation are now seeping into their marriage life as well. With rumors of celebs like JLo and her impending divorce from Affleck circulating alongside Timberlake’s possible separation, are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex next in line?
It’s no secret that “Meghan was in tears” when her America Riviera Orchard brand’s launch was greeted with widespread mockery. However, more than her fear of being hated or criticized, Meghan Markle is most afraid of being ignored and forgotten. In fact, she reportedly “hates” the idea of not being in the spotlight. Quinn expressed the following about the Duchess,
“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned – she loves media attention and hates the fact that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.”

“Meghan feels very much under siege,” Quinn says as the unstable empire she and Prince Harry built crumbles before her. American Riviera Orchard is the laughing stock of the internet, and the Sussexes’ deals with Spotify and Netflix are very uncertain. It’s no wonder all the stress and pressure finally affected Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage, causing a “growing rift” in their relationship.
The root of the problem is simple: people simply find very little to admire in Meghan’s work. The well-to-do actress married royalty and then went on to criticize the monarchy; she does this while expecting the perks and respect that a royal would have. Such behavior leaves little to applaud, let alone admire.
Where Will Meghan Markle Be in 10 Years?
With all the drama with the Sussexes in mind, Reddit users on r/SaintMeghanMarkle elaborate on “how will Meghan be remembered in 10 years.”
“She’ll be an oddity, something featured on Vanity Fair Confidential, like Ann Woodward. A curiosity and an object lesson for future gold diggers.” Another user chimes in with agreement, “An oddity is the perfect explanation. Nothing other than mediocre but with a huge ego. She will fade into an abyss with other where-are-they-now types.”
