Prince Harry‘s memoir Spare caused quite a stir among fans and in the royal family. However, that’s nothing to what the Duke of Sussex could have shared with the world. After the release of his first book, Harry has revealed that he had enough content for a second book. However, fans may not see that until after the death of his father, King Charles.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield revealed that she believes Prince Harry would write about his family a second time. However, this time, he could wait until the death of King Charles. Despite the tension in the royal family, Harry may not want to hurt his father with his words, especially since he’s currently undergoing cancer treatment. In addition, she claimed that if Prince William continues to push his younger brother away, a second book would be more likely.
Prince Harry Waiting to Release Second Memoir Until After King Charles’ Death?
“I do think he would write about his family again. He was waiting to publish a book after Queen Elizabeth died,” Schofield said on her podcast, per She Finds. “Originally, they were saying there was going to be another publication after the late Queen died. I suspect that maybe he would release a book after his father passed away,” she added.
Previously, it was revealed that Harry was specificially asked by his father not to say or write anything about the royal family. He reportedly gave his son a stern warning, which royal author Tom Quinn says it’s in Harry’s best interest to heed.
“Everyone knows that when a King asks you to do something, there are going to be consequences if you do not obey,” Quinn told The Mirror.
Prince Harry’s intentions are unclear. He’s reportedly been interested in mending fences with King Charles, Prince William, and the rest of the royal family. However, he and his wife, Meghan Markle, have bashed the monarchy on several occasions.
It remains to be seen if Prince Harry will be able to return to the royal family fold in any capacity. However, a second memoir could end any hope for reconciliation.
