Fans of the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise can now pre-order and pre-download the next installment, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. This offer is only available, at this time, to Xbox One users. The pre-order / pre-download option gives players the opportunity to have the game ready to play when it’s released on September 19, 2017, at 9:00 AM. Although the game can be downloaded, it can’t actually be played until the previously mentioned released date.

The idea of the Infinite remains the same as previous Marvel vs. Capcom games; player versus player (or bot) action is carried out by some of the labels’ favorite characters, such as Iron Man, Thor, Ryu, Hulk, Megaman, Captain America, and much more. Like the fighting game Injustice, Infinite will have a story which gives reason to all of the destruction. Ultron Sigma has emerged and has begun to systematically bring upon the eradication of human life on Earth. Our heroes stand tall with the help of each other and the Infinity Stones. There’ll only be one way to win: fight like hell. In this case, hell’s gonna be pounding at the door, so gear up with your favorite team of heroes and kick some b-u-t-t.

Check out the recently released video teasing Ultron Sigma’s reign of terror below.

There are currently two different versions of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite available for pre-order and pre-download: Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition includes Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu premium costumes, as well as the full game. The Deluxe Edition gives players Warrior Thor, Evil Ryu, Gladiator Hulk, and Command Mission Mega Man X Premium Costumes. This version also includes the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite full game and Character Pass.

Check out these deals by heading over to Xbox Store or to Microsoft’s website. If you’re a fan of fighters, then this a game that you should be anticipating. After mediocre reviews haunted Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Infinite will hopefully live up to the high expectations fans have come to anticipate from the franchise. Again, look for it to be released on 9/19/2017.

Most of the time he spends writing, reading (anything from comics to classic literature), playing video games, and wondering when the next Elder Scrolls title will be released. Hopefully soon...
