Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expanding their family! The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his high school sweetheart are expecting their third child together. The Mahomes broke the amazing news in the cutest way.
In a joint Instagram post, Patrick and Brittany held a sonogram while their two kids played around. The family of four donned matching white and beige outfits. At one point, the toddlers held on to the sonogram while their parents watched dotingly. The heartwarming announcement video was set to Bruno Mars’ Count On Me. Pregnant Brittany looked gorgeous in a white fitted maxi dress, her baby bump barely showing. “Round three, here we come 🤍,” the accompanying caption read.
The power couple didn’t give more details about their third pregnancy. However, given how Brittany isn’t showing, baby Mahomes might arrive in 2025. In no time, fans serenaded the couple with congratulatory messages. “Congratulations!! Your beautiful family is going to be even more perfect,” gushed one fan, while another wrote, “Amazing another little chief ❤️💛to love on🎉Congratulations, @brittanylynne, what an amazing start to this next season.”
Patrick and Brittany’s love story is like a fairytale, as the lovers met in high school and began dating as teenagers. After 10 years together, the three-time Super Bowl MVP popped the question after his Super Bowl ring ceremony in September 2020. Their proposal news was soon followed by the announcement of their first child. Their daughter, Sterling Skye, was born in February 2021. It wasn’t until a year later that they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. Months down the line, in November 2022, their son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon joined the family.
Patrick Mahomes Reveals Plans For Children’s Sports Career
Despite being hailed as one of the greatest quarterbacks in history, Patrick has no intention of making his children follow in his footsteps. Per People Magazine, during an episode of Football in America, the star athlete revealed he would emulate his parents’ style and “stay out of” his kids’ ways. “I think that’s the best thing for me,” he explained. I’m going to help teach my son and my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn.”
Patrick noted that he wants his children to fall in love with the sports on their own, just like his father allowed him. “They didn’t pressure me to do anything. I think that’s why I’m in the position I am today,” he remarked.
