No, not that kind of Acid

Acid is liquid gold in Once Human 1.0 (full release) and you’re going to find out why soon enough. Come mid-game or around Level 20-30, nearly everything is going to need Acid for crafting whereas you mostly only use it for Ammo previously. So you’ll do well to start farming Acid early on in Once Human. Here’s what I recommend to get as much Acid as you can so you don’t have to worry too much about ammo or crafting.

Best Passive Acid Crafting Method in Once Human 1.0

Farming Acid is the faster and more active way to get tons of it, but it’s not exactly a fun activity– having to loot every single one of your kills. You can thankfully bolster this Acid acquisition method through less tedious means.

There are passive ways to get Acid in Once Human, and the best among them would be through this combo:

  • Synthesis Bench / Advanced Synthesis Bench
  • Sulfur Alchemy Memetics Specialization (Level 15-Level 30)

With Sulfur Chemist, you’ll be turning Sulfur stacks into Acid, just try it out. And you’ll need a Synthesis Bench for this. Here’s the process:

  1. Reach Level 15 or Level 30.
  2. Get Sulfur Alchemy (it randomly pops up at Level 15 and every five levels up to Level 30, depending on your luck).
  3. Unlock the Synthesis Bench, it’s under Memetics > Crafting > HP Recovery I > Synthesis Bench.
  4. Synthesis Benches need electricity, so build Solar Panels and wire them to the Synthesis Bench.
  5. Eventually, you will want to upgrade to the Advanced Synthesis Bench.
  6. Mine hundreds or thousands of Sulfur Ore.
  7. Go to the Synthesis Bench and select the Acid recipe, then select the amount and the Sulfur Ore.

The rate is somewhere around 5:1, so you’re going to need a lot of Sulfur. All you need to do is mine Sulfur ores and load the Sulfur into the Synthesis Bench for automatic Acid production. Keep in mind that this is not a quick method, only an AFK method since you can leave it offline and come back stacks of acid.

You can expect a rate of 99 Acid every eight hours or so. So sleep first and then come back to your Acid bulk. If you also have a Digby Boy, then you’re in luck as they can sometimes mine Sulfur, so all you have to do is craft Acid and wait.
