Chanel West Coast was living her best life as she went sheer on Instagram last month, but somebody just had to ruin it. Showing off a glam eveningwear look as she rocked a see-through dress that flashed her undies beneath, the 35-year-old TV star flaunted her fabulous postpartum curves, but it doesn’t look like everyone approved.
While Chanel regularly features 2022-born daughter Bowie Breeze on social media and proves adored for being a loving mother, the shamers were out to get her. Sparking a debate in the comments was one fan who kicked off the drama by telling Chanel to quit wearing see-through looks as a “mother.” Chanel does not appear to have addressed the comment.
Chanel West Coast Shows Off Style On Instagram
Sashaying around a poolside deck at night and with fancy lighting upping the glam, Chanel paraded her outfit for her 3 million+ fans.
Rocking a totally sheer, embellished white dress, the West Coast Hustle star went skintight in her maxi number, highlighting her curvy waistline and snap-back abs as she wore a white two-piece beneath. Adding in platform-heeled sandals in white, Chanel kept her look coordinated from head to toe, and she looked mighty proud of herself.
Sporting her locks down and wearing plenty of makeup, Chanel wrote`: “Nights like these in @FashionNova.” Much like stars including Larsa Pippen and Christina Milian, Chanel is signed to the affordable clothing brand.
Drama After Being Reminded She’s ‘A Mother’
While the post earned Chanel over 20,000 likes, it also brought criticism. “You have a child now! Be a mother!” one fan wrote, gaining likes from over 25 others.
Fans would likely argue that Chanel is more a mother than anything else these days. Together with boyfriend Dom Fenison, she’s been updating fans on her life with little Bowie, who even has her own Instagram account. Chanel’s brand-new West Coast Hustle show even centers around the challenges she faces as she continues her career as a mom of one.
Fans did defend Chanel. “Oh thatโs right sheโs not allowed to be a person anymore, just a mom. Good job Karen,” one replied. Another said: “This coming from the worst possible mother ๐คฃ instagram isnโt a place to make up for your ineptitude.”
Also thinking that the comment was unnecessary was a fan replying: “This attitude is so much of what’s wrong with society. Like she’s a mom now, so she should be matronly??“
Chanel’s new West Coast Hustle show debuts tonight at 9 p.m. on MTV. The rapper made 2023 headlines for leaving MTV series Ridiculousness after 30 seasons.
