Justin Timberlake has delayed the NSYNC reunion plans for the moment. Justin is the only popular 90’s boyband member yet to commit to the highly anticipated reunion tour. So far, the remaining guys are all on board and eager to set up a meeting to discuss lockdown plans. However, Justin has more pressing issues to tend to.
NSYNC fans were brimming with excitement at the prospect of the band finally reuniting for a tour. It’s been 22 years since the band went on ‘hiatus’ and Justin Timberlake embarked on a solo career. With only a few brief reunions over the past two decades, fans were given a glimmer of hope in 2023. The release of NSYNC’s single “Better Place” for the DreamWorks animated film Trolls Band Together further fueled this anticipation.
However, things came to a standstill in June after Justin Timberlake’s DUI arrest in Sag Harbor. Since then, the “Cry Me A River” singer has faced challenges. But while Justin Timberlake deals with the fallout of his arrest, NSYNC band members remain hopeful that things will fall into place.
Chris Kirkpatrick spoke with Instagram’s nylivingtv about where the reunion talks stand. He reveals that there are a lot of pieces that need to fall into place.
“We’re all talking again as you’ve seen some of the stuff we’ve done together lately. We have [two] new songs, which is a lot different than the last 20 or so years that we haven’t been together. So there’s a lot. There’s a lot we’re talking about. Nothing in stone yet…When we know, you’ll know.“
Justin Timberlake’s Focus Remains On Legal Issues & World Tour
According to TMZ, everyone, minus Justin Timberlake, is in NYC for a meeting that Lance Bass coordinated to ‘discuss the future of the band.’ Timberlake is preparing for his world tour Forget Tomorrow concert in Poland’s Tauron Arena in Kraków this Friday.
Friday will be a challenging day for Justin. Not only is he performing, but it also happens to be the same day as Justin’s next court hearing. The singer’s lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., will represent the singer in court that day. However, it will still be a tough day for Justin, who anxiously awaits news from his lawyer.
