If you feel like you’ve never noticed Cargo Scrambles in Once Human before, you’d be correct. As part of a patch, Once Human added a new PvP event that players can gather towards and enjoy together. Let’s dive into how to join a Cargo Scramble event, how to participate in one, and what kind of rewards you can earn.

How to Join a Cargo Scramble Event

Joining a Cargo Scramble event is as easy as heading to the red icon labeled “Cargo Scramble” on the map whenever it appears. There is no specific timeframe when this can happen, so I recommend checking your map frequently. You’ll see an icon on the bottom left-hand corner of the map that states what sort of map events are currently available. The event will be presented as a red truck icon on the map itself.

As opposed to other events, like a Party Event, you cannot merely fast-travel to it; you will need to get there on your own.

What to Do In a Cargo Scramble

In a Cargo Scramble, you’ll need to take down a truck that contains Seeds of Life that affect players with blobs on their heads. For every player you take down with a blob on their head, you’ll earn Sproutlets. The event only ends once the timer runs out or when all of the Sproutlets have been taken care of.

How to Use Sproutlets

Sproutlets can be used to purchase rare items from Nisa at any safe camp. She is the NPC with a glowing pink mushroom blob on her head. The items in her shop range from six Sproutlets to 10,000.
