Meghan Markle may not be the most loved woman on the planet, but she’s got qualities even her most devout critics can only admire. Since leaving the UK following their decision to step back from their duties as senior royals in favor of an independent future, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have endured some unpleasant times, worsened by their constant back and forth with the press. Their unfiltered royal family exposés have also strained their relationship with the rest of the royals, with bombshell revelations that portray the monarchy in a bad light.
Despite the negative press their actions so far have garnered, royal expert Tom Bower, a staunch critic of the Sussexs believes the couple has more controversial bombshells in store for the royal family. During a sit-down with Sun Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson on Royal Exclusive Show, Tom aired his views about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the uncertain future that awaited them in the path they chose to tread. He divulged,
“The future for the Sussexes is pretty grim. I think they’re on a permanent decline. But whenever they need money, whenever they need publicity to stoke their reputation, they will drop another bomb.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Plan Future Royal Hit With Upcoming Memoir
The royal commentator referenced the long-prevailing speculations that the Duchess of Sussex was working on her own autobiography. According to him, Meghan Markle intends to release this memoir sometime in the future as “the ultimate weapon she can deploy.”
While talks of an upcoming autobiography remain unconfirmed, Tom believes the Suits alum capable of rising to the task. He praised her writing abilities saying,
“We’re still waiting for Meghan’s own autobiography, which I’m sure she’s penning, she’s a good writer.”
Sadly, Tom Bower believes Meghan Markle would only use her writing prowess to spread “lies and vitriol” through the future memoir. He added,
“She will not tell the truth because she wants a sensational headline.”
Notably, Meghan Markle has put her writing skills to good use in the past, authoring the children’s picture book, The Bench. Since the book’s publication in 2021, Meghan seems to have dropped the pen, focusing on relaunching her Hollywood career and lifestyle brand. She’s also backed her husband through the release of his bombshell memoir, Spare, in 2023. Like their controversial Oprah Interview, and the Netflix Documentary Harry and Meghan, the memoir featured various disturbing claims about the British monarchy and Harry’s “tough” life as King Charles’ second son. Given Spare’s massive success, the couple could consider taking the publication route once again amid their constant media backlash. And that would most certainly hit the royal family as hard as the previous bombshells.
