If the ability to make beer is in the game that I’m playing, then you bet I will sit there and figure out how. Once Human makes this easy, you can add the ability to your resume. So long as you have a brewing barrel formula from the Memetics menu, beer-making is yours to take! Let’s dive into how to make a Brewing Barrel and how to craft beer in Once Human.

How to Make a Brewing Barrel

To craft a Brewing Barrel in Once Human, you need to have unlocked the fourth level of upgrades in the Logistics Memetics menu. This upgrade comes immediately after the Integrated Kitchen upgrade. The cost to take this upgrade is 2,000 Energy Links and seven Meme points. You’ll then be able to craft a brewing barrel, craft beer, wine, and more!

To brew beer, you need two things: Pure Water and Wheat. You can get Pure Water from a Compact Water Filter. If you don’t have Wheat, I recommend growing your own using planters, which is also an upgrade that can be acquired through the Logistics Memetics menu. If you’re already using a water filter, you can use all your excess water on your plants so they can grow faster. I have five planters that always hold everything I need to have food, bait, and more on me.

You can also replace What with Impure Acid if you’re looking to create regular Acid. No, you can’t ingest the Acid and experience any adverse effects. Realistically, I wouldn’t blame anyone who has to live out in that world for trying it.
