The drama between Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus just keeps coming. This time, former President Donald Trump is speaking out about the father and daughter duo amid their family feud. Over the weekend, Trump visited Nashville, and gave a strange shoutout to Billy Ray while getting some digs in at Miley as well. Trump praised Billy Ray for his political beliefs, but questioned his daughter’s stance on the issues.
According to OK! Magazine, Trump spoke at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Tennessee, and Billy Ray was in attendance. During his speech, the Presidential candidate talked politics and didn’t hold back when it came time to call out Miley Cyrus for being a young liberal.

“Billy Ray Cyrus is here. Where is Billy Ray? He’s around here someplace,” Trump said to the crowd before mentioning the country singer’s famous daughter. “He’s a conservative guy. I said, ‘How did you get such a liberal daughter?’ How had that happened, Billy Ray?’” Trump stated.
Donald Trump’s statements come at a very volatile time in the Cyrus family. Miley and Billy Ray have allegedly been estranged for months. However, earlier this month, a leaked audio between the Achy Breaky Heart singer and his wife, Firerose, made things worse. In the recording, Billy Ray is yelling at his wife, and even insulting members of his own family, including Miley.

He is dead to her,” an insider told the outlet. “Miley is over caring about what Billy Ray has to say about her, her mom or her siblings. Miley is as independent of a woman as possible, and she refuses to let her dad, or any man, break her heart,” the informant added.
It seems Donald Trump stirring the pot of Billy Ray Cyrus’ feud with daughter Miley Cyrus is just the latest hit for the family. It’s unclear whether or not the father and daughter pair will ever be able to mend fences. However, for now, things aren’t looking good.
