Weeks after the reveal of the Black Ops 6 Campaign and Multiplayer features, now it is time for some Zombies love from Treyarch. The latest Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser is here, and there are several details including a direct reference to Project Janus to breakdown from this 17-second video. Activision’s marketing team have brought new comms to TheTruthLies website, and upon reaching it, you’ll receive a heart-warming jump scare from Mr. Peeks!
Call of Duty has posted a new teaser for Black Ops 6 Zombies on X, featuring a video that looks very much like an intro or a piece of a future trailer for the Liberty Falls map. This is more evident when we get to see a house, a city, and then the reanimated corpses walking.
The next two big teases from this video are Project Janus, and the “The Truth Dies” quote. Project Janus is what Edward Richtofen has been working on in the Dark Aether era of Call of Duty since Black Ops Cold War. And The Truth Dies seems to be the marketing quote for the Zombies part of Black Ops 6.
Now, the interesting part about this new Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser is that if you visit TheTruthLies.com website, you’ll discover more. On channel 1, you get to see the screen crashing into a monitor room with a few zombie flash scenes. This is probably a teaser for Terminus Island, where all 4 characters of the main crew are seen in their cells from the cameras.
Then we have channel 2 where there’s a weather broadcast, and then it turns into Mr. Peeks laughing again. The big news here is when the screen crashes and we get to see Terminus Island from far away while a number sequence plays: “7, 6, 7, 5.”
So with The Truth Dies campaign going on, we’ll probably receive more and more info on Black Ops 6 Zombies in the upcoming days and weeks. Just like with the BO6 Campaign, channels 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be updated with new pieces, and in the end, we’ll get a full trailer. Or at least that’s what we hope to see from Treyarch and Activision.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is due to release on October 25, 2024.
