As someone who was there during the first Marvel season, I find it nice to see this mix-up of comic-book characters with Fortnite outfits return to the game. With a great Battle Pass to get and many new things to see in this season, players will want to jump onto the bus as soon as possible. If you want to start unlocking War Machine or Emma Frost, we’ve made a list of all the weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, as well as a few pointers on how to complete each one.
(Updated on October 31, 2024 – Completed the guide with the remaining quests).
Week 0
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Damage Opponents With Dual Micro SMGs | 1,000 | 20,000 |
Search Containers in Different Names Locations in a Single Match | 2 | 20,000 |
Hide in Hiding Places or Bushes in Different Matches | 3 | 20,000 |
Eliminate Opponents with SMGs or Shotguns | 10 | 20,000 |
Eliminate an Opponent With Captain America’s Shield | 1 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents With Dual Micro SMGs
Dual Micro SMGs are one of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4’s new weapons and are included in the list of weekly quests. During the few rounds I played, I found many of these guns on the map. Assuming you have a good aim, you can complete this quest in one match. Also, since it says “opponents,” damaging NPCs should also count.
Search Containers in Different Names Locations in a Single Match
This might be a tricky one because you have to complete it in a single match. Luckily, you only need to search two containers in one named location. What I did was land on any of the old named locations, such as the Nitrodome, and open two chests. I don’t recommend attempting this quest in the new areas because they’ll be full of players, thus making the quest harder.
Hide in Hiding Places or Bushes in Different Matches
Quite easy to finish. You need to play three matches and hide in different hiding places. You can use a bush or a dumpster; anything works, really.
Eliminate Opponents with SMGs or Shotguns
This might be the weekly quest that’ll take the longest to do in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, at least in week 0. Whenever you find an SMG or Shotgun, keep it and start blasting. You need to eliminate 10 players with either. Landing in any of the new locations is a good idea for completing this mission.
Eliminate an Opponent With Captain America’s Shield
My favorite new weapon of the season and one I’ve missed since the Thanos event. If you’re lucky enough to find one, just aim at an enemy and throw it. When I used it, I noticed players took 60 damage from one hit. So, assuming they don’t have shields, two or three hits should suffice to eliminate a player. Again, since the quest says “opponent,” it should work on NPCs, too.
Week 1
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Damage Opponents While Airborne | 500 | 20,000 |
Eliminate An Opponent With Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol | 1 | 20,000 |
Reach 10 Players Remaining | 1 | 20,000 |
Travel Distance While Airborne in a Vehicle | 100 | 20,000 |
Search Chests in Named Locations | 1 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents While Airborne
This one might be a bit tricky but not impossible to pull off. You can do this quest at any named location, but I found out that Mount Olympus is a great area due to the verticality and the ease of jumping around. If you have any of War Machine’s new items, you can also get some air time to shoot enemies.
Eliminate An Opponent With Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol
For this, head to Castle Doom to obtain the weapon and defeat one enemy with it. It might take a few tries because people will be looking for the same weapon, but as soon as you get it first, you’ll be good to go.
Reach 10 Players Remaining
Survive. That’s my only advice. In all seriousness, though, don’t camp. Just run around, shoot enemies you see, escape whenever you feel overwhelmed, and aim for that top 10 spot.
Travel Distance While Airborne in a Vehicle
You can use any of the ramps that are still around the map from the previous season. I did this quest in one match just by using the same ramp repeatedly.
Search Chests in Named Locations
Since you need to search 25 chests, you might have to finish this quest in two matches or in one, but you’ll have to travel across the map and loot every named location. Personally, I’d take it easy and finish the quest slowly as you play this week.
Week 2
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Eliminate Opponents With the Strike AR | 3 | 20,000 |
Sprint Distance After Taking Damage | 100 | 20,000 |
Use a Mod Bench in Different Matches | 2 | 20,000 |
Hire Characters or Recruit Defeated Henchmen | 5 | 20,000 |
Gain Health | 200 | 20,000 |
Eliminate Opponents With the Strike AR
It’s not a difficult one to complete, especially because the Strike AR isn’t too challenging to find across the map. When you find it, equip it and start shooting enemies. The rarity of the AR doesn’t matter.
Sprint Distance After Taking Damage
I can assure you everyone will finish this in one match. If you really want to “cheese” it, head to a crowded location, wait for someone to shoot you, and just escape. We haven’t seen if you can also complete this one by taking fall damage and then sprinting, but the easiest way is just taking a few bullets and then running away.
Use a Mod Bench in Different Matches
For this weekly quest, you can head to any of the vaults in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4 that usually include a mod bench. You can wait until someone loots it if you don’t want to be in danger and just use the mod bench in two different matches.
Hire Characters or Recruit Defeated Henchmen
You can do either of two things: find all the NPCs this season and hire any of them or go around blasting henchmen to recruit them. If you want the latter, The Raft is a great option.
Gain Health
To make this quest easy, find a few healing items, jump from a high place until you lose HP, and then heal yourself.
Week 3
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Damage Opponents With the Monarch Pistol | 300 | 20,000 |
Collect Ammo While You Have a Specialist Hired | 50 | 20,000 |
Collect Weapons From Eliminated Opponents | 15 | 20,000 |
Travel Distance in a Vehicle While Boosting | 500 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents Within 10 Seconds of Sprinting | 3,000 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents With the Monarch Pistol
This one isn’t difficult, especially with the high DPS the pistol has. As soon as you find this gun, equip it and blast any enemy you see. This one also has good hip-fire accuracy, so you can go crazy with it.
Collect Ammo While You Have a Specialist Hired
If you already know where most of this season’s NPCs are, go for one, hire them, and start looting. 50 ammo isn’t a lot, so you can do this during one match. The easiest way to complete this task is by landing on a place with a specialist and looting before everyone else sweeps the area.
Collect Weapons From Eliminated Opponents
Assuming your foes are carrying a lot of guns, you can do this in one match. To complete the quest, eliminate enemies, grab their guns, and move on. You don’t have to keep their weapons.
Travel Distance in a Vehicle While Boosting
It’s as easy as it can get. Find a vehicle and hit the gas. If you run out of fuel, visit any of the service stations and continue on your merry way.
Damage Opponents Within 10 Seconds of Sprinting
I completed this one when I landed in one of the many named locations, which are usually packed during a whole season. Grab a gun, run, and shoot the first opponent you see.
Week 4
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Hit Opponents or Block Hits With Captain America’s Shield | 15 | 20,000 |
Eliminate an Opponent With a Headshot | 1 | 20,000 |
Complete a SHADOW Briefing | 1 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents in Landmarks | 500 | 20,000 |
Search Containers at Named Locations Before Taking Damage | 10 | 20,000 |
Hit Opponents or Block Hits With Captain America’s Shield
Whether you want to go on the offensive or defensive, all you must do is equip the shield and start blocking or bashing. If you need a quick shield, head to where Captain Jonesy is; he’ll sell you one.
Eliminate an Opponent With a Headshot
This might be one of the trickiest weekly quests of Chapter 5, Season 4 in Fortnite, because it requires a good aim. One “easy” way to do this is by equipping a shotgun and blasting an enemy from up close.
Complete a SHADOW Briefing
You should already be familiar with SHADOW Briefings, but if not, find a SHADOW terminal, accept the short quest, and complete it.
Damage Opponents in Landmarks
Instead of the new big named locations, you can land on landmarks and start shooting. Depending on how packed the area is, you might finish this quest in one or more matches.
Search Containers at Named Locations Before Taking Damage
This one should be easy to complete. Land on a named location but not in the middle of it since it is usually where enemies land. Run to loot every container you see, and repeat if you don’t manage to do this during one match.
Week 5
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Search Armor Stands, Stark Industry Chests, and Avenger’s Chest | 7 | 20,000 |
Hit Opponents With the Iron Man Combat Kit Unibeam | 2 | 20,000 |
Launch With Iron Man’s Flight Kit in Different Matches | 3 | 20,000 |
Eliminate Opponents at Dig Sites | 5 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents With Energy Weapons | 1000 | 20,000 |
Search Armor Stands, Stark Industry Chests, and Avenger’s Chest
This might be the easiest weekly quest of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, at least in the fifth week. You can land at any of the new locations, and finding one of these chests is almost guaranteed. I found mine seconds after landing.
Hit Opponents With the Iron Man Combat Kit Unibeam
The easiest way to finish this quest is to find any of the new Stark Industries chests on the map or the armor stand. The latter are easier to find as you can see them fall on the map.
Launch With Iron Man’s Flight Kit in Different Matches
Same as the above one. You can head to any of the spawn locations for these items and just equip them. However, you must do this in different matches.
Eliminate Opponents at Dig Sites
Before you attempt this quest, track it from your menu and head to the sites marked on your map. It seems NPCs count for this quest.
Damage Opponents With Energy Weapons
It seems everything is Iron Man-themed. Head again to an armor stand, grab Iron Man’s combat kit, and start blasting. It’s quite a long quest as it requires you to do 1,000 damage, so you might have to do it in different matches unless you have a killer aim.
Week 6
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Eliminate Opponents With a Stark Industry Rifle | 5 | 20,000 |
Visit a Stark Mobile Armory in Different Matches | 2 | 20,000 |
Headshot Opponents from Above | 3 | 20,000 |
Collect Hero Items | 3 | 20,000 |
Destroy Objects or Structures | 1000 | 20,000 |
Eliminate Opponents With a Stark Industry Rifle
If you come across any of the new containers for the season, there is a chance you’ll get a Stark Industry Rifle. Once you have one, hold on to it and start defeating players.
Visit a Stark Mobile Armory in Different Matches
You’ll find the new armories across the map, and you can spot them easily by heading to the Iron Man head icon on your minimap. Once inside, pick the loadout; do this in two different matches to complete the quest.
Headshot Opponents from Above
This is quite the skill-based quest because you need to headshot opponents from a high location. You can do this in named locations that have high buildings or wait until the final storm circles and find high ground to pick enemies from afar. A weapon with a scope is helpful for this mission.
Collect Hero Items
Chapter 5, Season 4 brought many hero items to Fortnite, and they are the protagonists of these weekly quests. The easiest way to get any of them is by opening the new containers or defeating bosses.
Destroy Objects or Structures
While you can do this by using your pickaxe, it is better to find explosives, like War Machine’s arsenal, or grab a car to ram everything in front of you.
Week 7
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Travel Distance While Airborne Without a Glider or Skydiving | 1,000 | 20,000 |
Drive in Different Named Locations in a Single Match | 3 | 20,000 |
Search Containers | 25 | 20,000 |
Damage Players Beyond 40 Meters | 200 | 20,000 |
Collect Legendary or Mythic Items from Eliminated Opponents | 3 | 20,000 |
Travel Distance While Airborne Without a Glider or Skydiving
You can use a car for this quest and just boost from a cliff to get some airtime; it is the easiest way to complete the quest.
Drive in Different Named Locations in a Single Match
I did this by landing in Restored Reels, grabbing a car, and driving toward the northeast side of the map. There are many named locations on the way, so you should be able to tackle this mission quickly.
Search Containers
You might have to finish this quest in more than one match, but as long as you open any type of container, you should be good.
Collect Legendary or Mythic Items from Eliminated Opponents
This will be a tricky one because not a lot of players will have Mythic or Legendary items at the start. The “easiest” way to do this quest is by making it to the last spots during a match and eliminating players; this is when almost everyone has the rarest items in the game.
Week 8
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Visit Named Locations or Landmarks in a Single Match | 5 | 20,000 |
Collect Items from Eliminated Bosses or Henchmen | 10 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents With Shotguns | 1,000 | 20,000 |
Accept SHADOW Briefings | 3 | 20,000 |
Use Ascenders or Zip Lines in Different Matches | 5 | 20,000 |
Visit Named Locations or Landmarks in a Single Match
You can take the same route as the one I recommended for the previous weekly quests.
Collect Items from Eliminated Bosses or Henchmen
You should be familiar with all bosses’ locations now, so go and defeat your favorite or least favorite and collect their items. You’ll likely have to do this in more than one match.
Damage Opponents With Shotguns
It might look like one of the hardest weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, but it is quite easy. Shotguns have a huge DPS potential, and as long as you shoot them from up close, you’ll get this quest done in one go.
Accept SHADOW Briefings
Locate the laptop-like icon on your map and accept the SHADOW Briefings. You have to do three of them. I recommend grabbing the supply ones since they are the easiest.
Use Ascenders or Zip Lines in Different Matches
This one is as easy as it sounds. Locate any zipline on the map and use it. Repeat this in five different matches.
Week 9
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Travel Distance in Underworld Named Locations | 750 | 20,000 |
Purchase Services from Mephisto | 2 | 20,000 |
Collect Ammo from Eliminated Opponents | 500 | 20,000 |
Eliminate a Player When There are Less than 25 Players Remaining | 1 | 20,000 |
Emote in Different Matches | 5 | 20,000 |
Travel Distance in Underworld Named Locations
For the weekly quests of Fornite Chapter 5, Season 3, week 9, you must return to the Underworld. All you must do is travel around any of the named locations, such as “The Underworld” or “Grim Gate.”
Purchase Services from Mephisto
For this quest, you must head to The Underworld and speak with Mephisto to purchase any of his services. Be careful, though, because many players will try to do this quest right now due to it being the new one.
Collect Ammo from Eliminated Opponents
Assuming you’re a good shot, all you have to do is defeat players and get their ammo. Collect a total of 500 to complete the quest.
Eliminate a Player When There are Less than 25 Players Remaining
Believe it or not, this quest is quite easy if you know where to land. To make it to the 25 remaining players, I recommend landing outside of named locations and driving around the map until you see the player count decrease. Once that’s done, find a player and eliminate them. Just be sure to arm yourself first.
Emote in Different Matches
This is one of the easiest quests of the week. Join five matches and emote in each of them.
Week 10
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Collect Items at Henchman Dig Sites | 10 | 20,000 |
Travel Distance While at Full Shields | 50 | 20,000 |
Spend Bars | 600 | 20,000 |
Headshot Players While Aiming Down Sights | 10 | 20,000 |
Reload Weapons Within 30 Seconds After Damaging an Opponent | 30 | 20,000 |
Collect Items at Henchman Dig Sites
You can find a lot of dig sites across the map. Once you locate one, start shooting the NPCs and loot everything you see around.
Travel Distance While at Full Shields
The easiest way to complete this quest is by landing in a busy location and finding shield items. Once you have them full, just run away.
Spend Bars
Since this is the last set of weekly quests for Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, you should go on a spending spree. Just purchase everything you can before those bars disappear.
Headshot Players While Aiming Down Sights
This might be the hardest of the week as you need a good aim. But as long as you land a headshot 10 times in players, you should be able to complete this task.
Reload Weapons Within 30 Seconds After Damaging an Opponent
This one is much easier than the above one. Just go trigger-happy whenever you see an opponent and reload at that instant. Do this 30 times to complete the task.
Kickstart Quests
As a bonus, we decided to add the Kickstart Quests, which are another great source of experience for your Battle Pass. There are eight of them right now, and most will take you to try this season’s new content.
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Discover Doomstadt, Castle Doom, and The Raft | 3 | 20,000 |
Hit Opponents While Aiming Down Sights With the Monarch Pistol | 5 | 20,000 |
Destroy Objects or Damage Opponents With War Machine’s Arsenal | 750 | 20,000 |
Search Dr. Doom Chests or Avenger’s Chests | 2 | 20,000 |
Damage Opponents With Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb | 250 | 20,000 |
Collect War Machine’s Arsenal, War Machine’s Auto-turret, and War Machine’s Hover Jets | 3 | 20,000 |
Accept a SHADOW Briefing: Armory | 1 | 20,000 |
Defeat Doom, Emma Frost, or Mysterio | 1 | 20,000 |
Discover Doomstadt, Castle Doom, and The Raft
This is one of the easiest quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, and assuming the circle is on your side, you can do it in one round. If you track the missions, the new locales should appear on your map. Head to them in whichever way and in whatever order you prefer to complete the quest.
Hit Opponents While Aiming Down Sights With the Monarch Pistol
Another new weapon that arrived this season is the Monarch Pistol. I found one piston on the map, but I discovered it is easier to grab one by defeating Doombot. You need to aim down sights and shoot five enemies with it.
Destroy Objects or Damage Opponents With War Machine’s Arsenal
For my War Machines fans out there, you can rain down proper destruction this season. The easiest way to find this mythic weapon is by opening any of the Avenger’s Chests. Once you have the Arsenal, shoot anything that moves (or doesn’t in the case of objects).
Search Dr. Doom Chests or Avenger’s Chests
You can do this mission at the same time as other weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4. Land on the new locations and start searching for these new chests. Open two of them to complete the task.
Damage Opponents With Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb
There’s a chance of Dr. Doom’s weapons being obtained while opening the abovementioned chests. If you’re lucky enough, equip Doom’s gauntlet and damage enemies with it.
Collect War Machine’s Arsenal, War Machine’s Auto-turret, and War Machine’s Hover Jets
If mystical arts aren’t your thing, then you can become the actual War Machine. You need to find all the items from this iconic hero and equip them. You can drop them after, but I don’t recommend it because they are quite destructive and extremely useful.
Accept a SHADOW Briefing: Armory
This one isn’t Marvel-related, but it is still a good way to get experience. Head to any of the usual SHADOW terminals and accept the short mission to complete this task.
Defeat Doom, Emma Frost, or Mysterio
For the last Kickstart quest, you should aim your glider at The Raft, Castle Doom, and Doomstadt. Emma is at The Raft, Doom (or Doombot) at Castle Doom, and Mysterio at Doomstadt. Defeat any of them to complete the mission.
Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, brought many interesting weekly quests. While some were similar to others we’ve seen in previous seasons, we can’t deny that they were a great source of experience and a way to put our skills to the test. Hopefully, the next season will bring more fun tasks for us to complete.
