This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Although you will be playing as the famous Sun Wukong in Black Myth: Wukong, you will start your journey with basic equipment. While you can slowly gather crafting materials and make better gear, you can also skip ahead by buying the Black Myth: Wukong DLC. You can get this downloadable content by purchasing the Deluxe Edition. Note that you won’t unlock these DLC items immediately the moment you start the game since you need to progress the story first.

Where To Claim Black Myth: Wukong DLC Items

You can redeem your Black Myth: Wukong DLC items by completing the tutorial section and progressing the game until you reach the Forest of Wolves area. When you first start the game, you can experience the epic fight between a full-powered Sun Wukong and an unknown immortal. In this stage, you can freely fight without being afraid of being defeated.

After a cutscene, you can start the tutorial section to learn the basics of combat. This will require you to pass through mountain passages and defeat numerous weak Yaoguai. Eventually, you will discover the first shrine that will become your camp.

However, if you want to get your Black Myth: Wukong DLC items, you must continue moving forward. After defeating the Bullguard elite enemy and meditating, you can reach the second area in the Forest of Wolves, where you can find the Trailblazer’s Gift option. Select it, and you can obtain all these items:

  • Bronzecloud Staff
  • Folk Opera Mask
  • Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor
  • Folk Opera Leather Bracers
  • Folk Opera Buskins
  • Wind Chimes

The Folk Opera armor set can increase the amount of Will you obtain from the enemies you defeat. On the other hand, the Bronzecloud Staff offers 35 ATK and a 2 percent CRIT Rate stats. The last item you can claim is the Wind Chimes Curio, which can slightly boost your movement speed. I recommend equipping these gear since they will make your fight against Yaoguai King Lingxuzhi easier.
