When civilians are in trouble, the Public Security Criminal Investigation Special Response Team is the front line to take control of any situation. You won’t find agents more willing to face dangers and defend the vulnerable. There are all kinds of agents, but in ZZZ, Seth stands out for guiding each of his steps by the laws and using everything at his disposal, like builds and teams, to achieve it. This semi-human cat is the first to defend the law with his own life.
Best W-Engines for Seth Build in Zenless Zone Zero
As part of the police department, Seth promptly and responsibly uses all the best W-Engines for his build, which his ZZZ faction puts at his disposal, such as:
Peacekeeper – Specialized (A-Rank) | While Shielded, the equipper’s Energy Regen increases by 0.4/s. The Anomaly Buildup of EX Special Attacks and Assist Follow-Ups increases by 36%. |
Spring Embrace (A-Rank) | Reduces DMG taken by 7.5%. When attacked, the equipper’s Energy Generation Rate increases by 10% for 12s. When the equipper switches off-field, this buff will be transferred to the new on-field character with its duration refreshed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack. |
Original Transmorpher (A-Rank) | Increases Max HP by 8%. When attacked, the equipper’s Impact is increased by 10% for 12s. |
- Peacekeeper – Specialized: Seth’s signature W-Engine is the one that makes his kit shine the most by boosting his ATK%, Shields, and Energy Regen to use his combo constantly. However, it works mainly with Anomaly characters for Disorder teams.
- Spring Embrace: Besides improving its ATK and Shield, it has a transferable Energy buff when changing characters, which is helpful for Set’s Defensive Assistance.
- Original Transmorpher: This W-engine does not improve much Seth’s Shield, but it does improve his defense stats.
Best Discs
The only music that motivates Seth is the sound of justice, but you’ll see him move his ears a little with these discs:
Swing Jazz | 2-Pieces: Energy Regen increases by 20%. 4-Pieces: Launching a Chain Attack or Ultimate increases all squad members’ DMG by 15% for 12s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack. |
Freedom Blues | 2-Pieces: Increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30. 4-Pieces: When an EX Special Attack hits an enemy, reduce the target Anomaly Buildup RES to equippers attribute by 20% for 8s. This effect does not stack with others of the same attribute. |
Hormone Punk | 2-Pieces: Increases ATK by 10%. 4-Pieces: Upon entering or switching into combat, the equipper has their ATK increased by 25% for 8s. This effect can be triggered once every 20s. |
Best Stats: ATK%, Anomaly Proficiency, Electric DMG%, Energy Regen or Anomaly Mastery.
- Fanged Metal: It will give Seth more energy. This allows you to buff his team more and use his abilities constantly, like Chain Attack or Ultimate.
- Freedom Blues: The best option for using Seth in Shock Anomaly characters or Disorder teams, primarily when this kitty uses his EX.
- Hormone Punk: This disc will increase the size of the Shield.
Best Team Comps and Rotation
Though Seth prefers to work with his fellow ZZZ cops, when the situation calls for it, he can team up with other agents like:
Anomaly | Stun | F2P |
Jane Doe – DPS Qingyi – Stun Seth – Support | Jane Doe – DPS Grace – Sub-DPS Seth – Support | Billy – DPS Anby – Stun Seth – Support |
- Start with any other character expert for Seth because you need to use his Defensive Assstances to summon him to the field.
- Fill your Resolve bar (use his Defensive Assist, EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, and Ultimate to gain Resolve).
- Then, use the Resolve energy to enhance his attacks.
- After performing Set’s Basic Attack combo triggering a Quick Change/Chain Attack, the next character will win a Shield of Resolve and an Anomaly Proficiency buff.
When dealing with a stronger enemy, use Seth’s Ultimate to change his Shield for a greatsword. If you have another of his faction teammates or have the same Attribute, Seth can perform an Additional Ability. This ability will lower Anomaly Buildup RES from the enemies.
Officer Cui (S-Rank) Bites and tears at the target enemy, dealing Physical DMG. This skill can be consecutively triggered up to 2 times. | Plugboo (S-Rank) Unleashes an EM cannon attack on the enemy, dealing Electric DMG and accumulating Electric Anomaly Buildup. |
Bagboo (A-Rank) Unleashes a series of slashes with dual blades, dealing Physical DMG. | Electroboo (A-Rank) Charges the enemy and continuously electrocutes the target, dealing Electric DMG. |
- Officer Cui: If you use Seth with Qingyi, this bangboo will be a perfect companion.
- Bagboo: It is an easy-to-get bangboo that benefits Physical DMG characters like Jane or Billy.
- Plugboo / Electroboo: These bangboos are best if you have more than one character with Electro Attribute.
Seth is an excellent member of the police team in New Eridu because of his build, he is the ideal support for other ZZZ agents with Anomaly Attribute on his team. His Shield is one of the strongest, with which no enemy can escape justice.
